The Big Bang Theory

Arii POV

I woke up and stretched my body across the bed. I felt Rajae's grip around my body tighten so I carefully moved his arm to not wake him. I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth,wash my face, and shower. Stripping out of my clothes, I stepped into the glass shower and let the hot water pour all over me.

30 minutes later I wrapped the towel around me and walked into the room. Rajae was downstairs playing music really loud so I'm guessing Tiana isn't here today. After drying off I stepped into a pair of grey running pants and a Orange sports bra. I put my hair in a ponytail and made up the bed.

I started cleaning up the house all morning. The kitchen, The bathroom, The living room, even the "Man Lair" in the basement. I carried the basket of clean clothes upstairs and began folding them.

"Can you run to the store?" Rajae asked pausing the game in the living room.

"For what?"

"I want taco's for dinner." He said.

"What if I don't want taco's." I challenged.

"I well ion know what to tell you." He unpaused the game.

I rolled my eyes and stood up. I put on my orange running jacket and orange running shoes. Grabbing my keys I made my way the the car.

Turning around the corner I noticed a black squad car a little to close behind me. I sped up. The car got even closer so I sped up some more but switched lanes. The car followed behind me and rammed into the back of my car. I lost control of the wheel and the car started to swerve on and off the road. It spun in circles and finally stopped in a ditch. I cracked my head on the side of the window and blacked out.

Detective Parker POV

Dammit I hope she aint dead. I need her to lead me to the baby.

I checked my rear view mirror and looked at the car. I kept driving when I saw another car pull up and a man get out.

"She'll be fine." I said. I made my way to her house. Rajae should be leaving soon.

Rajae POV

I was playing the game when my phone started ringing. I paused it and answered without looking at the caller ID.

*Phone Convo*

"Hello."

"Hi who am I speaking with?" The man said.

I looked at the screen and it said Arii❤️ on it.

"Who is this?" I asked.

"My name is Bill Compton. I'm a state trooper and I'm here with your girlfriend I take it. She's been in an accident"

"Where yall at?" I was already on my way out the door. I sped down the highway and spotted the car.

I hung up the phone and got out.

"Im ok. Let's just go home." Arii said. She had a cut on her forehead and a little bit of blood on her jacket.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Ma'am it's important we know what happened so we can help you." The man said.

Arii POV

I looked back and forth between the Trooper and Rajae. I debated on if I should tell the truth or not.

"I just lost control of the wheel." I said.

"You lost control of the wheel." The trooper said. Rajae looked at me like he didn't believe me but he didn't say anything.

I nodded my head.

After 15 minutes we were finally on our way home. My car got towed and I'll be getting a rental soon.

"So you plan on tellin' me what really happened or you finna settle with that bullshit ass lie?" He asked.

I looked at him and started talking.

"I got ran off the road." I spat out.

"What you mean?" He looked at me then back at the street.

"After I left a black squad car was following me. I switched lanes and he came up behind me and rammed into the back of my car. I lost control and hit my head on the wind shield."

The rest of the ride was silent. We stopped at McDonalds and got something to eat.

"Are we gonna go get Tiana from your mom's??" I asked.

"Nah she good." He said putting a fry in his mouth.

Detective Parker POV

I walked up the stairs and opened the first door on my right.

"Bathroom." I said. I walked to the next room and opened the door. I saw baby clothes and diapers everywhere. But no baby.

"Damn." Closing the door I walked to the biggest room and spotted a black duffle bag. Opening it I saw what looked like $500,000 dollars in cash.

"Big baller I see." I picked the bag up and swung it over my shoulder. Putting on a glove I reached into my back pocket and pulled out the MP5 I found at Justus' crime scene. Apparently Rajae left it sitting on the desk next to him without wiping off the prints. I placed it in the drawer and closed it.

Sitting in my squad car across the street I watched as they pulled up to the house. Once they walked in I radioed in to my team and waited for the magic happen.
