>Present Day<

Arii POV

Rajae walked into the house carrying to bags. I stood up with a sleeping Tiana on my shoulder.

"Hey babe." I said. I leaned in for a kiss but he turned his head and I caught his cheek. He walked to the kitchen and I followed.

"I cooked for you, incase your hungry." I said in a soft voice. He didn't look at me. He just went upstairs. So I followed again. I laid Tiana down in the guest room and went to our bedroom.

"What's wrong?" I kneeled down in from of him and crawled between his legs so I could see his face. I brushed his dreads out his face with my hand and saw his glossy eyes. As if he was about to cry.

"Rajae talk to me, what happened?" I asked. He was starting to scare me.

He sighed and reached in his pocket and handed me some folded up papers. As I read I stood up and looked back and forth between him and the paper.

"She's not yours." I said.

He just shook his head.

"How'd you get this?"

"I couldn't figure out what he meant but now I know."

He said.

"Who? Babe what are you talking about?"

"Crazy man. Before I killed him he said 'My baby girl' and 'Take care of her.' He even knew her name and that the money was in her bed."

"What bed?" I was confused.

He told me the story from beginning to end about Diamond and Crazy setting us up. Then about Rico and Rio.

"So where's the money now?"

He looked over by the wall and back at me.

"What do we do with it?"

"Put it towards Tiana. That's it that's all."

He looked so tired and stressed so I didn't question him any further. It was 11:30 at night and I needed to rest. I've been up with Tiana all day. I put the papers in the drawer and went to the bathroom to run Rajae a hot bath. I went back to the room and grabbed his hand pulling him up towards the bathroom.

After getting him settled in I pulled his hair back so they wouldn't get wet and I rubbed his shoulders. He was so tense I could tell he been through a lot today. We didn't talk, we didn't look at each other, we didn't move. We just thought. It felt like the room was closing in on us, As if the world was somehow against us and we needed to fight back.

"I'm finna shower real fast." He said breaking the silence. I stood and undressed myself so I could join him. Stepping in and closing the glass door I stood behind Rajae. I started to feel bad. He didn't ask for none of this to happen and now he gotta deal with it all. But never alone<3

Rajae POV

I put my hands on the shower wall and let my head fall. I felt Arii snake her hands around my hips and kiss my back. She laid her head on my back and just breathed. I aint wanna drag her into none of my shit but Ion think I can handle this on my own. I need her.

I turned around and kissed her. Picking her up I put her back against the wall. I thrusted into her and she winced a little. As I moved my hips her body slid up and down the wall. Her quiet moans filled the bathroom. She started to get louder so I put my hand over her mouth. Tiana was still asleep and I needed it to stay that way for now. I felt her cum and I stopped. That was enough for me, she deserved it after all she been through. I still held her up but I just buried my head in her neck. She wrapped her arms around me and I felt.... Safe? Like I could trust her no matter what.

"You can." She said.

I got confused.

We just let the hot water run against our bodies. For once we felt safe from the world. We was at peace.
