Arii POV
>3Months Later<
My stomach was turning. It felt like I haven't eaten in days. I've grown a lot over these past months and each day has gotten harder and harder for me.
I rolled out the bed and stood up. Rubbing my swollen belly in circles, I walked to the bathroom and did my daily.
THUD! CRASH! BANG!
'What the hell is that noise?' I thought. I followed the noise to Tiana's room and saw she knocked her toy over by throwing her doll across the room. Shaking my head I cleaned it up and took her out her play pin.
As I fed Tiana, I turned on the NEWS and quickly turned it up as I saw a picture of Rajae on the screen.
"... And we're back on Channel 4 NEWS with the tragic story of the killings of Justus and Diamond Jones. It turns out that the Police have made a false arrest on the suspected Rajae Moore who was aquaintences with both victims. Police have arranged for Rajae to be set free and cleared of all chargers by tomorrow at the latest."
I didn't notice Tiana biting my finger until after it went on commercial. A tear rolled down my face as I smiled uncontrolably.
"You hear that TiTi? daddy's coming home." I said. She just looked around and slobbed a little. I tickled her and watched as her deep dimples caved in her face and her brown eyes lit up. Just like her daddy.
Rajae POV
"Aye homes congragulations. I heard they finally lettin' yo ass go." Pablo said. I was packin' stuff and takin' the blankets off the bed.
"Yeah, a nigga free finally." I said laughing.
"What you plan on doin' when you leave?" He asked.
"I don't know go see my girl and chill with some friends. But first I'm goin' to McDonalds. Fukin' around with place I lost 10 pounds." I laughed.
"I feel you bro." He said laughing.
"Moore... Moore!.... MOORE." The guard yelled.
"I'm right Here!" I yelled back.
"Damn." I mumbled.
"Let's go."
I turned to Pablo and dapped him up.
"Stay up man." I said.
"You too, I'll see you when I get out." He said.
"Real soon." He looked at me funny. I don't know what that meant but I'm tryna get out of here.
Stepping outside I smelled the fresh air. I walked over to the car and got in the passenger side.
"Wassupp man." I said to Kevin.
"Wassupp jail bird. Happy to be out?"
"Man I'm jumpin' for joy right now. Let's go to McDonalds thought I'm starving."
10 minutes go by and of course Kevin had to make conversation. He turned the radio down.
"Sooooo...... Did you get ass raped?"
I looked at him then reached my arm over and slapped him.
"Why would you say some gay shit like that? Fuck wrong with you." I was mad as hell.
"Damn man. You said you got shanked just like niggas in the movies. So I figured maybe that.... Nevermind."
I reached over and slapped him again.
"You gon' stop puttin' yo hands on me."
We pulled up to McDonalds and I leaned over the arm rest to yell my order through the speaker.
"Yeah, uh, Lemme get a number 11 extra crispy."
"And to drink?"
"A fruitopia... light on the ice." I said.

Pulling up to the house I sat in the car.
"What you waiting for?" Kev asked.
"Nothin'. It's just been a while."
"She misses you." He said.
"The whole time you been gone all she did was talk about you and how she couldn't wait for you to get back. She been a real mess takin' care of herself, the house, and Tiana alone. I been over a few times to help her out but... she needs you more."
I nodded and got out the car. After watching him pull off I walked into the house and couldn't believe what I saw.
"Rajae?" Arii said holding her swollen belly.
"Arii....."
