Karrueche and I were attending Heather and Kai'lani celebration party in honor of them about to open their story. It's been four months since the Halloween party. August and Kai'lani have since then came out as a couple. Of course I am happy for the both of them, I know she's happy and that's all that really matters to me.

"Babe are you ready?" I inquired. Karrueche came out of the bathroom, looking beautiful as always.

"Yeah babe, let's get going or we're going to be late." She told me. I walked out of the bedroom and downstairs. I walked through the side door that lead to the garage. I hit the unlock button to my Range Rover. I got inside and started the car. Karrueche got in and closed the door behind herself. I backed out of the garage and onto the street. I pulled off and focused on driving.

Karrueche and I never talk in the car which is weird. No small talk, no nothing. Tupac's 'I Ain't Mad At Cha' played throughout the car. Honestly I love Karrueche and I have lots of fun when we're together, there is something messing. It like we connect but not on that deep of a level. I pulled into the parking lot of the building where the party was being held. I parked the car and got out. I walked around to Karrueche's side and opened the door. I helped her out and closed the door behind her.

"Thanks babe." She thanked before giving me a peck on the cheek. I took her hand and lead her into the building.

August and I stood in the back. I was a wreck. I was really nervous which was very weird for me. August sat me down and took my small hands into his larger ones.

"Babygirl, everything is going to work out fine. You'll do amazing." He encouraged. My leg shook even more and looked away from him.

"Lani look at me." He pleaded. I turned my head and looked into his eyes.

"Calm down babe, you're going to kill it. Ya' know why?" He inquired as he intertwined.

"Because you're a smart and creative woman and also you got Daddy Aug on your side."

I laughed, "You're always cracking jokes September but thanks for the encouragement. I really needed it."

He kissed my cheek and smiled, "I know but I think you're needed." He told me as Heather walked down the hallway.

"You ready business partner?" She inquired.

"Yes, I'm ready." I told her. She nodded and walked out of the door. I pecked August's lips before following Heather out of the door. We walked up the stage and over to the podium. I stood beside her as she stood at the podium.

"Could I have everyone's attention, please?" She inquired. Everyone quieted down and turned their attention to us. August stood near the front and gave me a promising smile.

"Welcome to our Sorella celebration party. Kai and I have been working very hard to accomplish opening a store. There was the matter of location then interior design. We've been taking our photoshoot to a different level because of my amazing partner standing beside me. She may not have been here from the start but she has very much helped ever since we have partnered. Thank you everyone for coming out and supporting not only Sorella but Kai and myself as we go on this journey." She spoke. Everyone started to clap. Heather moved to the side and I took her place at the podium.

"Good afternoon everyone. Has my partner has said, we've been working very hard on opening this store. There were plenty of sleepless night where we were up talking about how we want Sorella to blow up and become something big. I haven't been here for the start but I'm very humble that she would share this moment with me. I know this is something she been working toward this for a long time and I am very proud of her. Thank you for coming and supporting Sorella, Heather and myself as we grow." I spoke. Everyone clapped. Heather and I walked off the stage side by side. August and Trell greeted us both at the end of the stairs. I hugged onto August tightly and he did the same. He rocked her side to side.

"Ya' did great babygirl, I'm proud of ya'." August smiled. I looked up at him and pecked his lip repeatedly.

"Because of you babe, your little pep talk helped me." I told him.

"I'm glad I could help. I seemed like you really needed it."

I pecked his lips, "Well I thank you for it." I told him. I seen Ty, Kylie, Chris, and Karrueche walk in our direction.

"Congratulations, once again you guys." Kylie smiled as she gave both Heather and I a hug.

"Thanks Kylie." I thanked her. I felt August's arms snake around my waist. I looked up at him to see him looking down at me.

"Y'all are so cute." Karrueche stated.

"Thank you." I thanked as I glanced at Chris to see him with a heartbroken look on his face. He had his chance and he didn't try to sculpt out time for me like he said he would.

"There is something I want to announce to everyone." Heather stated as she looked over at me because I already knew what was about to happen.

"Trell and I are expecting!" She announced. I smiled as everyone went up and hugged her. I already know so I had got all my beginner excitement and shock.

"I take you already knew?" August inquired.

"I mean we are close friends, what do you expect babe?" I smirked.

"Well I would expect for ya' and I to be at my place doing some thangs." He whispered in my ear. I blushed and turned to face him.

"I would very much like that, Mr. Alsina." I smirked. He smirked and rested his hands on my derriere.

"Well August and I have to get going. He has a very important meeting in the morning." I told everyone. Everyone gave us hugs and goodbyes before August and I rushed out of the building and to his Maserati. We climbed inside and August started the car. He turned and kissed me passionately. Our tongues were wrestling for dominance. August pulled away from the kiss and smirked.

"When we get to that house, I'm tearing that kitty up."
