Kai'lani has been super happy ever since I proposed to her, a week ago. She's been planning the role of a wife already; she was taking care of Royalty and Brielle, she made sure that the house was in order and she was dealing with her job. Every night when I come home from the studio, she's on the phone with either my mom, one of her best friends, or Aliana planning the wedding. She wanted it to be in Hawaii and of course I agreed.

"Chris! Ty's here." She announced. I walked out of the bedroom and down the stairs. Kai was in the living room, doing yoga and Ty just stood in the foyer.

"What's up?" I inquired.

"Our surprise is here." He told me and I nodded.

"Kai, Ty and I are going to the store. You need anything?" I inquired.

"No babe, I'm good." She told me. Ty and I exited the house and walked in the direction of his Range Rover. We both got inside and he backed out of my driveway. The surprise is that I had gotten in contact with Kai's mother. She was always telling me how bad she wanted to see her mother so Ty and I got her here in Los Angeles. I purchased a small home here for her that was near our neighborhood.

"You think she'll be happy?" I inquired.

"Hell yeah, I know she's gon' be happy. She hasn't seen her mom since she left for college, that was nearly four to five years ago. This is something good that you're doing." He assured. I looked out the window and smiled to myself. He's right, she's going to be happy. He pulled into the parking lot of the airport and found a close park.

I got out with the sign with her name on it. I put on sunglasses and my hoodie. I was trying my best to not be spotted. I walked inside and walked near the gates. I put the sign in the air and stood there. Hopefully she sees it. A woman walked over who looked exactly like Kai'lani.

"I take it that you are Ms. Chaslyn?" I inquired.

"And you're my daughter boyfriend Chris."

I nodded, "Yes ma'am but I proposed to her last week." I told her.

"Aw, my baby is getting married. Where is she now?" She inquired.

"At home, she's doing yoga." I told her and she nodded. I took her bags from her and lead her through the crowd of people. We walked out of the airport to Ty's Range Rover. He must've seen us because the trunk was opened. I opened the back door for her and she climbed inside. I closed the door behind her and placed her bags into the trunk. I'm hoping this goes well.

Chris told me to dressed and be ready for some strange ready. I was exhausted after I did yoga. Luckily Aliana and Ms. Joyce offered to babysit till' tomorrow. I sat on the porch and sipped my water. Personally, I wish he would hurry up because I am tired and hungry. Ty's white Range Rover pulled into the driveway. I shifted around in the chair trying to get comfortable but didn't. Chris got out and walked up to me.

"Hey babe." He greeted with a smile.

"Hi baby." I greeted with a pout. He leaned and pecked my lips. He extended his hands and helped me up.

"Close your eyes." He instructed. I nodded and closed my eyes. I felt Chris guide me down the steps. I couldn't help but think what he had done this time. I heard a door open and then Chris stopped walking.

"Open your eyes." He told me. I opened my eyes to see my mom staying in front of me. I was overwhelmed with emotions. I hugged onto her body and cried onto her shoulder. It's been five years since I seen her. We talk on the phone occasionally but that doesn't beat seeing her.

"Mom, how did you get here?" I inquired.

"Your wonderful fiance, how you failed to mention he was Chris Brown. He had paid for my flight and a place for me to stay in. I'm officially back in California." She told me. I couldn't help but smile.

"That's great. Does Mel know?"

"Yes, she say she was on her way over here. Five months pregnant is really suitting you." She told me. She rubbed my belly and smiled.

"Thank you mom, I really missed you."

"I missed you too mija, I'm dying to hear about the wedding details. Chris has offered to take us to any restaurant to celebrate. What do you and my grandchild feel like eating?"

"Some steak, I want to go to Outback."

"Okay. Let's go to Outback and discuss everything that we haven't talked about on the phone. I'm dying to hear about it." It felt good to have my mom back in my life.
