It's been two and half months since our little trip to Santa Cruz and it's also been two months since I found out I was pregnant again. It was definitely something that wasn't planned but what can I do about it? Chris has definitely stepped up and started to help around the house. He only goes out to the studio then comes home to help take care of the girls.
"Kai, what do you want for dinner tonight?" Chris inquired as he peeked into the living room where I was playing with the girls.
"Something simple, we can order chinese if want." I told him as I handed Royalty her teething ring. He nodded and sat down beside me on the floor. He picked up Brielle and kissed her cheek.
"Where's Lani?" He inquired as he bounced her up and down.
"Napping, she's been up all night. She needed sleep." I told him as I let Royalty walk around. She was officially one year and two months which was something big. Chris and Nia went all out for her first birthday, it was very cute though. There was a knock on the door. I got up from the floor and walked over to the door. I opened it and it revealed Karrueche.
"Chris, Karrueche's here." I announced before walking back over to Royalty who was trying open the gate.
"What do you think you're doing missy? You know you stay in the gate." I told her as I picked her up and sat her back on the playmat. Chris came back downstairs with Brielle on his hip and her bag in his hand. He handed her off to Karrueche before closing the door. Karrueche and Chris had came to a agreement that she keeps Brielle on the weekends while Chris keeps her during the week.
"Keep the door unlock, remember Nia is coming to get Royalty in a little bit then we're having couples night with Aliana, Melanie, Kendrick, and Michael." I reminded.
"Right, right. Do you wanna go ahead and shower?" He inquired.
"Already did. I have my outfit on the bed also. Yours is also set out too."
"Damn superwife." He smiled. I couldn't but smile back. I picked Royalty up and placed her on my hip. I walked in the kitchen and sat her in her high chair. I poured her a bowl of Cheerios and sat the bowl in front of her. I heard Leilani's loud cries coming from the baby monitor.
"I'll go get her." Chris told me before jogging upstairs.

two hours later
Chris and I were on our way to Melanie and Michael's apartment for couples' night. We did this annually because we all felt that we need to connect together. Chris's hand found its way to my thigh and he moved his hand up and down. I placed my hand onto his hand and turned up the radio.
"Doin' 80 in a 60 fuck a ticket cause I ain't had that pussy in a minute." Chris and I sang together. He pulled into the parking lot of their apartment building. He parked beside Rick's truck and we both got out of the Wrangler and walked up the stairs. I hit the doorbell and stepped back. The door opened and Melanie revealed herself. She smiled and hugged us both.
"Hey you guys." She greeted. We walked inside and I gasped. This is my first time seeing their new apartment. She was right, Michael's computer technician job was bringing in a lot of coins.

"This is really beautiful Mel." I complimented. I walked inside and took off my shoes. I walked over to the kitchen to see everyone else.
"There's my favorite cousin in law." Aliana greeted as she gave me a side hug.
"Why is it that everytime I seen every single one of you, you're out slaying me?" I joked as took a seat in one of the dining chairs.
"We can say the same." Mel stated. Michael walked into the apartment holding a bag. He walked over to Mel and kissed her cheek.
"Hey everyone, I got wine." He announced as he took three bottles Pinot Noir and sat them on the counter.
"My salvation has finally arrived." Aliana joked and we all laughed. I looked over at Chris who carrying on a conversation with Kendrick.
"Well everyone Michael and I have some news to share with everyone." Mel stated as Michael grabbed her hand and intertwined their fingers.
"We're expecting!" She announced. I gasped and got up. I ran up to her and hugged her.
"I'm going to be a aunty." I smiled. She smiled and rubbed on her belly.
"Congratulations guys, I think we should toast to that." Aliana stated. Mel took out six flute glasses and poured four glasses full of Pinot Noir and the other two with Apple Cider. Mel and I took the ones with Apple Cider and the other four took the Pinot Noir.
"To Mel and Michael, congratulations on the baby you guys. I know you'll be amazing parents." I toasted. We all clinked our glasses together before taking a sip out of them.
