Kai'lani I. Brown ↠ three years later
After three years, everything is nearly the same. Royalty is six, Brielle is five, Leilani is four, and Christian is three. Best believe it wasn't easy raising three kids and occasionally helping out with Royalty but it was worth it. Chris and I have been good for the most part, we have our days when we just argue but that's still my baby.
"Kids come on, you're going to be late for your first day!" I called out as I finished packing Brielle's lunch. All of them came down one by one in their uniforms. They looked so cute. Royalty was staying with us until Nia gets back from a doctor seminar in Florida. I handed them all their lunches and kneeled down to their height.
"Do you girls have everything?" I inquired.
"Yes!" They all replied enthusiastically. I smiled and got up. Christian came running over to us with his toy in his hand.
"I wanna go with them!" He declared as he grabbed my arm.
"You can't go with them yet sweetie but you start preschool today." I told him. He pouted and threw his toy down. I got up and put him on my hip.
"Come on girls, let's go to the bus stop." I told them as I slipped on my Gucci slippers. Leilani grabbed my free hand as we walked outside and down the street to the bus stop.
"Leilani are you ready for your first day of kindergarten?" I inquired.
"Yeah. Courtney is going to big girl school too!" She told me. Courtney is Leilani's best friend. They met two years ago and have been best friends ever since.
"Really? That's cool." I told her. I watched the girls sitting down on the bench and conversate with their friends. I felt like I was about to tear up all over again. My little Lani is going to elementary school. I go through this every year because the girls are all a year apart. I went through it with Brielle and Royalty even though they aren't my biological babies, I still see them as my babies.
"Bye!" They all waved as they got on the school bus. I waved back and watched as the school bus drive away.
"Let's get you ready for preschool baby boy." I told Christian as I started walking back to the house.

After getting the kids to finally go to bed and getting dinner for Chris and I, I was finally able to relax. Chris has been shooting a video for one of his songs, so he comes home around ten now. I had a lot of errands to do today but luckily I got home just in time to get the girls off the bus then we went and got Christian from pre school. Ms. Joyce had came over and cooked for them while I went and handled some business pertaining my sister.
"I'm home babygirl." Chris announced. I couldn't help but smile. He walked into the kitchen and over to where I was.
"I bought us Chinese for dinner. Everyone is asleep." I told him as I held the bag of Chinese up in the air. He pecked my lips.
"Thank you babe, I was starving. How was getting the kids on the bus this morning?" He inquired. We walked over to the table and took a seat.
"Like it is every year, our baby is finally in kindergarten and our youngest in finally in preschool. I was about to cry a waterfall when Christian ran off happily." I told him. I opened my container and ate a piece of chicken.
"You made it through right? I can only imagine what it'll be like when he goes to elementary school."
"I'm so used to having one of them by my side, it's boring without my babies." I pouted. He chuckled and wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him.
"I guess now you can go back to work and do modeling like you wanted or we can get to bumping and grinding to make another little me or you." He suggested. He picked me up and sat me on his lap.
"I like that second option more." I smirked. He smiled and gave me a kiss. The kiss was very slow and sensual. I felt Chris pulling on my top. When he got it over my head, there was a knock at the door. We both sighed and placed my shirt back on. Chris and I got up from the table and walked over to the door. I opened the door and seen someone I thought I would never see again.
"Karrueche?" Both Chris and I inquired. She took off her shade and gave us both a smile.
"Hello guys. It's been a while." She smirked. I felt my temper rising and she just came in here.
"What do you want?" I inquired.
"My daughter, that's what I want."
