It was absolutely peaceful out here in Santa Cruz. I looked over to my left to see Kai was peacefully sleeping on her side. She's been asleep since we got here, I knew she was tired so I just let her be. I got out of bed and walked onto the balcony. The water kept clashing with the sand and the sun was shining bright. If she was to wake up anytime soon, we could go walking on the beach. I walked back into the room and smiled at the sight.
"Good morning sunshine." I greeted as I got back in the bed. Kai smiled and pecked my lips twice.
"Good morning baby." She greeted as she hugged onto my waist. I kissed her forehead and played in her hair.
"How did you sleep?" I inquired.
"Like a baby. How long was I asleep?"
"Let's see we got here around two in the afternoon and it is now six in the morning making that sixteen hours that you were asleep."
"Wow I guess I needed it. What's todays plans?" She inquired.
"Whatever you wanna do, we can do it but I want something from you first."
"What is that?" She inquired.
"Some nookie." I smirked. She smirked and straddled my lap.
"You want some nookie? Do you think you deserve some?" She inquired as she removed the white t-shirt from over her head revealing her white lace bra.
"What do you think?" I inquired.
"I think you do." She stated with a smirk.

one hour later
Three passionate rounds later, Kai and I were walking down the beach. Hardly anyone was out here which made it more enjoyable for us. The sun had just rose a couple of minutes ago which added to the romantic scenery.
"Babe." Kai called out.
"Yes baby?" I inquired.
"Thank you for this, we haven't spend much time together since the honeymoon. It seems like you're too busy with your career that you don't have time for me."
I hugged her side and kissed her cheek, "You're welcome baby and we're going to be spending more time together, I promise."
"What are you going to do about our little problem?"
"I'll handle it, don't worry about it." I assured. I didn't want her stressing out over Karrueche. We found a set of rocks and we took a seat on one of them. We watched the tide crash onto the shore. We didn't say anything, I guess because we were both in our own little worlds.
"Chris?"
"Hmm?"
"What did you think the first time you saw me?" She inquired as she looked over at me.
"I thought to myself that she's beautiful but seems like a pain in the ass."
She gasped, "Really?" She inquired.
"Yeah. Most of my homies was like 'she's a very hard person to crack and to converse with.' I believed them too."
"It's just I've never was attracted to the singer/rapper lifestyle but something clicked when I seen you. It was like you were very playful yet determined." She told me. I nodded and wrapped my arm around her waist. I'm really grateful to have her in my life; whether I act like it or not.
