Chris didn't come back to the hotel room till' three in the morning. Best believe I sent him to sleep on the couch. This is not how I wanted to spend the day before my wedding. I got out of bed and walked into the living room to see Chris wasn't there. I sighed and made my way to the kitchen. I looked in the fridge and grabbed a water. There was a knock on the door. I walked over to the door and opened it. I looked up to see August.
"August!" I exclaimed as hugged him tightly. He told me he wasn't going to make it.
"Ya' think I'mma miss my best friend's wedding?" He inquired.
"I did but I can't believe your here." I told him. He walked inside, closing the door behind himself. We walked over to the couch and sat down.
"Oh no, I see a blanket and pillow. What did Chris do?" He inquired.
"He accused me of flirting with Aliana's boyfriend Kendrick. All I did was talk with him and I guess I can't have guy friends. You don't see me tripping when he be talking to these girls do you?"
"Where is he at?" He inquired.
"I don't know, he wasn't here when I woke up. It's only one more day till' the wedding August. I don't want us arguing. I have other things on my mind other than arguing with him." I sighed.
"I'll be fine little bit." He assured as he rubbed up and down my arm in a comforting way. I laid my head back and stared at the ceiling. I sure hope so.

five hours later
I opened my eyes to see August was gone. He must have went back to his hotel room. I got up and walked into the bedroom to see Chris sitting on the bed. I sighed and he looked back in my direction. He got up and gave me a kiss on the forehead.
"Babe, I'm sorry. I let my jealousy get in the way." He apologized as he wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Why were you jealous? Kendrick is your cousin's boyfriend. I just don't understand it Chris."
He sighed, "I don't even know why I got jealous. I guess all this wedding stress has gotten to me."
I laid my head on his chest. I understand that this wedding is stressful but to get jealous because I'm talking to another guy is ridiculous. I got out of the embrace and sat down on the bed. Chris sat down beside me and took my hand into his. I didn't feel the need to say anything.
"We better get ready for the rehearsal dinner." I suggested. I walked into the closet and looked around. I grabbed a grey jumpsuit with grey Balenciaga sneakers. Chris walked in behind me dressed in a black t-shirt, black jeans, and black Air Force Ones. He took my hand into his and lead through the hotel room. We walked out and down the elevator. I hit the call button and the doors opened. We got inside and Chris pressed '1'. The doors closed and we stood there in silence.
We decided to have a beach picnic rehearsal dinner. It was a casual get together to take everyone for coming and to go over things that will be going down tomorrow. The doors opened and we both walked out. We walked out of the hotel to the Escalade with everyone else. The driver pulled off and I laid my head against the window. Personally I was just ready for tomorrow.
"Babe?" Chris called out.
"Yes?" I inquired as I still looked out of the window.
"Are you still mad at me?" He inquired as he laid his head on my shoulder.
"No Chris, I'm just annoyed. You pull this bullshit two days before our wedding. If I wanted to cheat, I would have been done it already. I wouldn't have waited till' I was pregnant and engaged."
He sighed, "Kai, I said I was sorry."
"Sorry doesn't cut it. If you don't trust me around guys then just tell me. If you think I'll cheat on you then tell me. If anything I shouldn't trust you around girls. You already betrayed me once. You don't see me going at your throat when I see you talking to women, don't you? I make conversation with one guy that you don't know and you get all jealous and shit. I'm not even sure if I want to step foot in that dinner rehearsal."
The truck stopped and we all go out. I got back in and closed the door. I locked all of the door and sat back.
"Can you take me to the nearest fast food restaurant?"
Melissa K. Bordeaux
I watched as the SUV pulled off with Kai inside. All I wanted to do was go across Chris's head at the moment but Keith was holding me back. I could tell CJ was agitated. We both wanted the absolute best for her and it was starting to seem like Chris wasn't the best. August came walking in my direction and by the look on his face I knew he was confused and worried.
"Where's Kai?" He inquired.
"She and Chris got into it. She got back in the SUV and left. August I'm two seconds away from going across his head." I told him.
"Calm down little Lissa. I'll go find her. Is she answering her phone?" He inquired.
"No, I've called her six times and she hasn't pick up once. Also I've texted her multiple times and she hasn't answered." CJ sighed.
"I'll go around in the area. She's bonded to be here somewhere. Keep the guest from knowing she's gone. They'll think the worse." August instructed.
"Ok Aug and thank you." I thanked.
"No need to thank me. She's my little bit, I'mma always be there for her." He told me before jogging off to a silver Audi R8. He got inside and drove off. Wherever she is, I hope her and my godchild are ok.

Hell I didn't know Chris pissed her off that bad and she had every right to be upset. Hell I would be upset too if Miracle accused me of cheating on her. Knowing her, she would be hungry so I stopped at the nearest restaurant; Popeyes. I parked and got out of my rental car. I walked inside and sure enough, she was sitting at a table eating a fish and popcorn shrimp meal. I took a seat in front of her and she looked up.
"August, if you're here to convince me to go the dinner, don't." She told me.
"I'm here to check up on my little bit. I heard y'all was arguin' in the car. Lissa and CJ looked like they're two seconds away from killin' him." I told her.
She sighed, "I'll admit it. I'm hurt, stressed, and just ready to get married. I'm hurt because he would accuse me of flirting with someone when he's the person I want to spend the rest of my life with."
"I get that. I know how ya' feel because every other week Miracle is at my head about some random woman who just turns out to be a fan."
"I don't understand it though. I'm always home Aug. I cook, I clean, I take care of the girls, and then I get accused when he's the one out of the house all the damn time."
"Ya' might neva' understand but ya' need to tell him about this shit. I ain't gon' say be patrolling his every move but do a couple of surprise phone checks." I suggested.
"I'll take that to mind. Thanks Aug." She thanked and finally gave me a smile.
"There's that smile I like to see." I smiled and stole a piece of popcorn shrimp.
"Don't mess with a pregnant woman's food August. You have three nieces and I'm sure you know what pregnant women are like."
"I know, I was just messin' with ya'." I chuckled. I was glad to see her happy again. If Chris ever hurts her, he better watch out.
