"mark! open up! please!" taeyong banged on the younger kids front door like a madman. he saw mark peek through the curtains before disappearing.

the second the door swung open taeyong collapsed through the foyer. mark shut the door and knelt down, his eyes wide. "are you okay? what's wrong?"

"i'm fucked." mark was very confused at the choice of words. it was only when taeyong showed his forearm, mark understood.

he gasped, holding taeyong's forearm closer, examining the green numbers. "where the hell did you get all these from!?"

"some rich fuck named jaehyun!" mark was happy his parents were out working. if they were home who knows what would have happened, other than worsening taeyong's situation.

after mark warmed up some tea and served it to taeyong he calmed down a bit. "mind telling me what happened?"

mark didn't miss a single word as taeyong recited the events from yesterday and this morning. he couldn't fathom the situation at all.

"oh and jaehyun is coming over as we speak. your parents won't be home anytime soon right?"

mark shook his head. his parents would be gone for at least another three hours. sighing thankfully, taeyong slumped in the kitchen chair, rubbing his aching temple. "i knew i shouldn't have accepted his damn offer!"

"i mean, his intentions seemed good." the glare taeyong gave mark was enough to send chills down his spine. he kept his mouth shut the remaining time it took for jaehyun to appear with yuta by his side.

mark let in the two and turned just in time to stop taeyong from pouncing on jaehyun. mark struggled to keep him in his arms as yuta stood in front of jaehyun protectively.

"bro calm down! calm down taeyong!" he had finally stopped thrashing around, he knew mark hated seeing violence. hell, he did too. he took a deep breath and nodded at mark, letting him know he was fine.

mark cautiously backed away, his eyes never leaving taeyong just in case. "now that anger issues over there is calm, let's try to figure out this mess jaehyun caused, shall we?"

yuta took a seat on the couch, dragging jaehyun with him. mark reached out to grab hold of taeyong's arm. taeyong shook him off and sat on the chair opposite from the couch, his cold stare causing jaehyun to feel uncomfortable.

mark sat on the armrest and looked back and forth between the three as the talking commenced. "take back your time jaehyun!"

"no! i want him to keep it!" jae fought back being the stubborn kid he always is. "he can come back with us!"

"are you crazy!?" both yuta and taeyong shouted simultaneously. mark even felt his stomach churn at the option.

"no one will suspect anything since he has enough time." taeyong felt as if he could punch jaehyun square off in his face while yuta thought a quick slap would bring jae back to his senses.

"i don't exactly fit into rich people's standards jaehyun!"

"he's right and where the hell would he stay, huh?"

"he could stay with me." jaehyun must have officially lost his mind.

"your parents would be so suspicious jae! please think about what you're saying right now!" yuta pleaded.

mark wished he could help or say something useful but he couldn't. this wasn't his problem and he knew taeyong would snap at him for butting in when he shouldn't have.

"taeyong, come live with me. or at least stay with me until we think of something more stable." tae didn't know what to do.

he wanted to run, go back in time, punch walls, and jaehyun but those were all ideas he couldn't pursue.

"i know something more stable. take back your fucking time."

"no."

"taeyong my parents are coming home soon. you have to decide fast." mark announced. taeyong pulled at his hair in frustration. he couldn't believe it. he had no other choice. he had to go with jaehyun.

"fine! i guess i have no other choice. i'll go with you jaehyun." jaehyun smiled whereas yuta groaned, his head falling back on the cushions.

"this is going to go horribly."

"no it won't. we'll be outside when you're ready." jaehyun tapped yuta and motioned towards the door. yuta rose with an annoyed puff of air and followed jaehyun out the front door.

once the door shut behind them taeyong turned to mark, a sad smile on his lips. mark frowned and bit his lip, his eyes burning with threatening tears.

"don't die out there with that idiot." tae pulled mark into a tight hug. he rubbed soothing circles on his back while his other hand pets his fluffy black hair.

"i'm going to miss you, buddy. thank you for always helping me."

from outside yuta continued to mutter under his breath just how bad of an idea this was. jaehyun knew this would work, he had complete faith.

"i'm ready." taeyong mumbled. jaehyun noticed the redness of his eyes as he walked out the house. he kept his comment to himself as he sent taeyong a reassuring smile.

"things are going to be better for you this way."

"shut up and lead the way." yuta couldn't agree more.
