devastation and remorse, the two feelings taeyong never wanted to feel again.

yuta was awoken to the smell of burnt food. he groaned as he stretched his sore limbs out. riding those roller coasters sure took a toll on his body. groggily he looked around, everything from last night came rushing back to him.

"he's finally mine..." he smiled to himself.

"ouch!" sicheng cried out. yuta jumped up quickly, frantically racing towards the sound of his distressed lover. he slid to a stop when he met eyes with sicheng's uncle who happened to just enter through the front door. both he and sicheng's faces expressed a look of true terror.

"uh sicheng, do you want to explain what's going on?" he turned off the stoves burner and walked in front of yuta, shielding his nude upper half from his uncle's view.

"hi. welcome home. this isn't what it seems. i promise." sicheng craned his neck to be able to look at yuta. "go get dressed." he whispered.

yuta nodded and raced back into the room where he stripped himself of sicheng's pajama shorts for his own comfortable fitting clothes. he took a deep breath before returning back to the living room.

sicheng was beet red as his uncle was talking to him in their native language. with limited knowledge on the language yuta was only able to pick up on one or two words that didn't leave him with much context as to what they could be possibly talking about.

"yuta." his uncle called out. "i'm dong guoliang. welcome to the family."

"uncle!" sicheng whined as he saw yuta freeze up. "please don't scare my boyfriend away."

"if he can run out the room half naked and still look me in the eye i'm sure he can handle me welcoming him to the family."

"sir i want to apologize for that. i swear sicheng and i didn't do anything except sleep. i would never disrespect him or you in any way, shape or form."

"i believe you. please sit. due to the burnt smell wafting around the house i assume sicheng didn't make edible food. i'll cook something up real quick and we can talk after a nice meal."

sicheng bit his lip, a look of distress filling his features.. yuta nodded respectfully and took the empty seat next to sicheng. once his uncle was out of earshot range sicheng began to profusely apologize.

"stop apologizing. i don't mind. i wanted to meet him in person anyways, especially now that we're together. i need to win his approval."

"what did i do to deserve you?" sicheng asked.

"i should be asking myself that." yuta cheekily responded. as the two leaned in for a quick kiss guoliang pressed his head between the two.

"kimchi fried rice or just white rice?" he asked, holding up bottled kimchi and a bag of rice. sicheng tossed his head back, annoyed and embarrassed whereas yuta awkwardly pointed towards the white rice.

after an interrogation type breakfast sicheng's uncle finally came to the agreement that yuta was perfect for his nephew. he set basic ground rules and restrictions before he allowed them to leave since the coffee shop needed to open up soon.

relieved it was over yuta texted jaehyun that he was finally free. since sicheng was in charge of opening the shop it was barren when they arrived. the workers usually come flooding in ten minutes after sicheng opens it up.
