I sat under the tree of life alone. I had been crying for hours.
In fact, I had been crying a lot since I came here. I had been suffering much more than my normal teenager life in my real world.
I missed to become the careless girl back then. Now, life are dangling at the tip of my fingers dangerously.
One wrong move and another die.
Ha Jun expected Eun Yeong to die soon. And as expected, I need to save her, if I can..
Earlier, Ha Jun gave me a very bizarre looking pendant, he told me that it was his lucky pendant. He wanted me to have it.
Such a small act warms my heart. He's not bad, and so does Baekhyun.
Maybe if I could save Eun Yeong, both of them will stop hating each other?
"Take this with you" Ha Jun said, gave the pendant to me.
"You don't have much time left, Miyoung" He added.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"You're not immortal. You're powerless. You could die while saving others" He said and I frowned. I never noticed how close I am to death until he reminded me of that.
"Hopefully, this lucky pendant could help you. I'm so proud of you, Kim Miyoung. Stay safe"
I didn't believe that the pendant could bring any luck to me, but somehow it brought comfort to me. At least I know someone was there for me.
He also gave me the old leather book which used to haunted me before.
Time had passes very fast. It's already end of November. Snow is coming soon.
It'll become a year since I disappeared from my home.
I flipped the book through pages. I noticed that most of the pages of the book were left without any writings on it.
