Chapter SIX
Never Woke
Felix's POV
I slept in the back of Arachne Lane with the slightly scary fidgeting Lex. The rest of the boys went back to her house. I couldn't bear myself to go anyway without some kind of protection. I was sitting on a small stool next to Lex with my head in my hands. I had barely been able to sleep at all last night in hopes that Lex would wake.
"Felix?" A voice asked. "What are you still doing here?"
I lifted my head up quickly and standing there was Andy, Phoebe, Sam and Jake. It's about... 9 am so what are they doing here?! I had stayed here all night and they left.
"You haven't slept at all?" Andy emphasised.
"None" I sighed, resting back in my chair.
Shuffling came from the direction of Lex and I quickly snapped my head over to her. She stopped fidgeting and it sounded like she was trying to say something except her lips wouldn't open.
"Lex?" Sam asked, kneeling near her.
"She isn't waking anytime soon boys, so might as well fix the talisman" Phoebe sighed, adjusting a book in her shelf.
"What do you mean?" Jake asked.
"From books it usually takes from 3 weeks to 7 years" Phoebe sighed.
"Fix the talisman fix Lex!" I shouted.
This could totally work because she nearly died when Sam smashed it.
"Sorry Felix, it's different with, Lex, she isn't human remember?" Jake glared, taking a seat.
"I just hope this ain't a fairy tale" Andy rolled his eyes.
"Oh grow up Andy, no one is going to kiss Lex, I don't think she's even had he first kiss!" Sam growled. "Its easy to tell she hasn't, Shes still love-innocent and she's never had a crush"
Dude, how does he know this about Lex? But I guess it is a little obvious.
"Mmhmm Mmmphh!" A female voice mumbled.
"Lex" Phoebe stared at the bed with shock.
I don't think she expected this to happen so... quick. We all crowded around the make-shift bed, watching Lex curiously.
"Why are you freaks staring at me? Take a picture it lasts longer" Lex mumbled.
"She's Back" Jake laughed, pushing her slightly.
--
"What happened while you were gone?" Phoebe asked. Lex sat up rubbing her head.
"I knew everyone was here, I could technically see them, I knew Felix was here all night, whispering random things to me. But while I was gone there was this shadowy figure, the demon trying to kill me and if I didn't find a way out I would actually die" Lex admitted, cracking her ankles.
I blushed slightly, remembering all the things that I had whispered to her like stay strong, bananas are good for you and weirder things. I never knew or even realised that Lex was mentally fighting a demon with nothing but her bare hands, she must be strong.
