Next Day...

Jake, Sam, Andy and I were called up to Mr Bates office the second we entered school grounds.

"Be safe Felix" I whispered past Felix's ear as we went to Bates office.

We walked into the buildings and towards the office and went right, straight into Mr Bates office without knocking.

"Now, a onlooker has informed me about an incident in the Car Mechanics room involving blood" Mr Bates asked, leaning forward and folding his hands.

I slowly sank into my chair. I remembered the events of yesterday, me spewing up a horrid about of blood. I don't know how I had that much blood but anyone would of at least fainted with spewing or seeing that blood.

"Does any of you boys and female have anything to with that blood?" Mr Bates asked, cocking a suspicious eyebrow.

"No Mr Bates, it was there when we got there, I promise you" Andy told him.

"Is this true?" Mr Bates looked at the rest of us.

"Yes Mr Bates" I nodded quickly.

"Okay, off to class" He dismissed us.

We quickly left his office and walked back to where we last saw Felix.

"That was close" Sam sighed relieved.

"Guys, you realise we have to hang around Lex everywhere for safety?" Andy reminded us.

"Gee, great! Now your going to take me to the toilet like a baby" I sassily threw my arms up in fake annoyance.

"Nice going L-" Instead of Sam finishing his sentence screams echoed the halls. Screams bounced off the lockers and everyone was running away. Growling filled our ears more. My heart rate quickened. What is happening?!

"Run!" Felix yelled.

He came sprinting from around the corner being rapidly followed by 7 growling, red-eyed dogs. We stopped right outside the office. Being cornered every second.

"What do we do? We don't have the talisman?" Jake yelled out.

"Magic! Lex's inner magic! Felix use her as a talisman!" Andy randomly yelled out, pointing to myself.

What? Im no necklace! Im not a life saving being, I can't do this but I can die trying to save my friends

I quickly nodded to Felix and took off my gloves, throwing them at Sam and slowly walking towards the vicious dogs. I placed my hand near the closest dog, being sure that it won't bite it off since I still need it.

"Okay" I slowly breathed out, not looking at Felix just looking at the dog, avoiding the eyes of course. Felix slowly placed his hand on my bare arm and looked towards the dogs.

"Water, Fire, Earth, Air! I invoke thee!" Felix commanded.

Suddenly, my blonde tips began glowing and sparks of lighting sprinted from my fingers, zapping each possessed dog then stopping. The redness evaporated from their eyes and they went back to average, happy dogs.

I can't believe I actually did that! That was so cool! I didn't know I could even do that! I slipped my gloves back on quietly as we walked down the halls.

"I... can't believe that worked" Andy sighed relieved.

"I'm just glad to have my life kinda safe" Sam sassily spoke.

"Dear students of Bremin High School. School is now closed for the remainder of the day" An announcement informed through the speakers.

"No School! Yeah!" Sam cheered.

I left them to go to my locker to grab my bag and head out.

"Is it okay if I study your hands when we get back to your house?" Andy appeared next to me.

"Depends" I answered back.

Sam, Jake and Felix came back hand we began to walk back out of the buildings off to Arachne Lane.

"Andy?" Ellen's voice asked behind us.

I saw him blush and turn to face Ellen, all giddy and love struck. I simply just rolled my eyes. Love is unneeded and unwanted, it's just no.

"Hey Ellen" Andy romantically sighed.

"You were so brave today! Can I interview you for my blog? How about at my place in about an hour?" Ellen blushed handing him a note.

"Uhh, sure" Andy sighed.

"We have to catch a meeting Andy" I groaned, annoyed.

"Yeah, Bye Ellen" Andy waved before walking off with us.

"Ooh! Andy's got a date!" Sam cooed, wrapping his arm around Andy's shoulder. Jake softly punched his arm in gratitude.

"Oh grow up! Love is sick, I've seen it all the time and yet only movie couples experience it! Rubbish!" I ranted on. "For all I know, boys don't have feelings! But yes, I do have feelings!"

I took no notice of the boys crazy as stares.

"Why do you feel that way about love?" Jake asked.

"Because love is stupid and by my age most girls have already experienced it and the only boys to ever have a proper talk with me is you guys!" I sighed, annoyed.

Arachne Lane wasn't too far away thankfully and we could quickly make it within the 30 minutes. As we continued walking with Sam cooing over Andy and Jake, Felix and I wondering why I hate love.

"Your parents loved each other" Jake reasoned.

"They loved each other so much they had you" Felix agreed.

"So? Boys just date pretty girls and only hot boys have feelings!" I shook my head as soon as we jumped up the steps.

"So your saying Andy and Sam are hot?" Jake smirked.

He should really grow up! Like, C'mon man... don't do this to me

"I never said that" I stubbornly argued.

"But Sam and Andy have feelings and you said only hot boys have feelings" Felix smirked cheekily.

"Let's just end this on your all equally hot. The End!" I sighed, frustrated as I pushed the door and the little bell ringed at Arachne Lane. I sadly knew that was the answer that they wanted, boys and their hormones are horrible

"Hello" Phoebe greeted. We followed her into the back of Arachne Lane.

"So can I examine your hands?" Andy asked, briefly looking at my gloved hands.

"So I don't kill you I need to stay calm" I nervously smiled. I sat down with the other boys who were talking to Phoebe and I slowly took my hand out of my gloves. This is what I've been training for, staying calm and not hurting anyone.

I took a deep breath as Andy took my hand and grabbed a magnifying glass.

"Sam?" I asked quickly, taking a deep breath afterwards.

"Yeah, what's up?" He turned to me.

"Talk to me, about anything except love, I need to be calm so I don't kill Andy" I reassured mainly myself.

For the next 30 minutes Sam and I talked about sports, demons and food or doing anything to get my mind off Andy so I would be calm... and not kill him, that's a bonus

"Done" Andy said, writing down something quickly on a spare piece of paper.

"Phew" I sighed relieved, slipping on my gloves.
