Chapter Four

Moving In

Lexs POV

-- Skip Weds and Thurs. It's Friday and school just finshed--

"What are you waiting for? A bus?" Felix laughed as he saw me leaning against the doorway.

"I'm waiting for you and your friends Stupid" I remarked, standing up straight. Stupid Sassy Felix. When the others arrived we set off.

"Where do you guys live?" I asked, slinging my black and red backpack over my shoulder.

"A shack in the middle of the forest" Jake nervously laughed.

"What?!" I shuttered, stopping in my tracks.

What?! THEY LIVE IN A SHACK?! What are they?! Animals?! Best to go by my fathers motto.

"What's wrong with that?" Sam asked, throwing his arms in the air a little.

"C'Mon, your going to live with me, you'll be safe from the demon. Lets go there and grab your things" I kindly ordered.

"Are you sure about this?" Felix asked. He shared looks with the others and I sassily rested my hand on my hip.

"I have a house with 3 extra bedrooms and ill take the couch" I laughed, being to walk with them.

So, that's how I got 4 new roommates... Who are loud, strange and attract demons... Hooray.

"You live here?" I chocked.

In front of my eyes was a rusty, broken down shack. Coming from the shack was rumbling and arguing from the 4 boys who was grabbing their things. Rustling came from the bushes behind me.

"Who's there? I asked, turning around. Rustling came from the left then the right.

"Who's there?!" I yelled louder. "Come and get it!" I was being extremely brave for my chances so I backed up till I was about 5 metres away from the shack.

"Whats happening?" Andy asked. "Demon?" He placed a hand on my shoulder and moved forward.

"I don't know but we should get moving" I signalled that was the time to go.

"Wow" Jake mumbled as we entered the property I call Home.

"Why is the air rippling? Its strange" Felix eyed me suspiciously.

"It's a protection spell to protect those who are on the property from demons" I explained, taking the keys from my pocket and placing it in the hole.

I jingled the keys a little and opened the door. On the left was a large lounge room with red sofas and on the right was a marble white and black kitchen and in front of the doors was stairs.

"Wow" Andy mumbled.

"C'mon, i'll show you guys your room" I smiled.

I slowly jogged up the stairs. Upstairs was pretty large. It had a small living area and on the left was 4 rooms and on the right 1 room.

"The black door is out of bounds, strictly" I warned them. The black door was closest to the stairs.

"Why?" Sam asked.

"Don't" I shot back "The room is next to that is Andy's, Jakes and then Sams" I pointed from left to right on the doors.

Sam, Andy and Jake went and got settled into their white rooms with simple dressers and pastel coloured sheets.

"Felix" I sighed, going to the last room on the left. "Dont... Freak out please but you have my room"

I opened the door and inside had a deep purple feature wall and a bed with black bed sheets. Over the years I had graffitied the other grey walls with skulls of all different sizes, from the size of tennis balls to the size of doors.

"Woah" He wowed. "This is... cool as"

"You'll stay here?" I asked, beaming slightly.

"Yeah! It's totally awesome!" Felix bragged. "Your...?" He trailed off like I knew what he was going to say, which I sadly did. But I ignored that question and walked down stairs, getting the sheets from the linen cupboards for my bed downstairs.

"Why do you want to help us so bad?" Jake asked, taking a seat on the couch and turning on the TV.

"Sometimes..." I trailed off "You've got to protect your friends"

Like dad said, to protect the ones you love put yourself in front of them and it'll pay off.

<A/N: Sorry this is kinda a filler but it kinda goes for the story. I have a big chapter for next that actually might go like over 1500 words idk. This is rather short chapter Ik only 710 words or more counting what im writing right now, okay stop it sorry. Any whoo you might be disappointed with this chapter but I promise you wont with the next chapter, its included in a episode but it goes with the plot and half of it will be not in Lexs POV Okay Bye>
