Frost covers the bedroom door
A pickaxe
A hammer
To shatter the hollow
Bash and bash
At the thick window glass
Lovers cries
That can't be heard
From insideTrapped and trapped
In a room
Thrown and trashed
A girl sits
In the corner
Her hands tinged with blood
Her arm an unintentional jagged mess from her nailsWords scrawled
Upon the walls
Coming from her mouth
And painting her faultsWhispers in her ear
Telling her to give in
To the cold
To dieShe stares and rocks
Back and forth
Tears streaming
Sobs caught in her throatAs the frost from outside
Slowly crawls in
And freezes her body
From outside inThe lovers cry
The family screams
Her friends sobs
As she cries out for help but can't see or hear themAnd she's trapped.
Trapped and trapped. Now unable to move
And even try to flee.Caged in her mind
for the rest of eternity. As everyone tries
To get her free.
