You fill holes with cement.
You fill cups with water, and flowers, and a scent,
of what was left behind.
You fill open with items and memories.
You just simply crowd empty with any type of filling. But you can't fill a round hole with a square peg.
And you can't ever fill the cup with water and poison, and expect the flowers to stay in bloom.
You can fill things,
loneliness, emptiness, the unfilled cracks in your heart,
but if you fill them with bad, you're back at the start.
Dying again, out of sight of your friends and everyone else.
So don't.
Don't fill empty spaces with poison or you'll feel more empty than before.
Fill them with happiness not with pain.
Talk to someone, give a hug, eat your favorite food.
Smile, and people will smile back you.
And your holes will slowly fill on their own.
