Muddled head, a cursed bedread.
Lying awake, long into the night.
Goodnight, sleep tight, I can't sleep, the world's too bright.
Blinding light, burning my eyes. Please shy away the shadows tonight.
Eye's red, filled with dread, another night of little sleep.
Waking up, and giving a huff, as the shadows sink away.
Into the corners, the cracks they hide, where the light is little, and they feel no tide.
Waiting and planning and asking aside, "How can we ruin, their rest tonight?"
