I sit down at my assigned seat and pull out the homework from the night before last. my classmates come in and take their seats and pull out their homework. once we all have our homework out, she says
"who would like to work problem number one?"
that was the problem I wasn't so sure about. nobody raised their hands and she said
"maci, how would you like to solve this problem?"
I nodded and walked towards the whiteboard

I turned to look at Mrs. Cooper and shook his head indicating I was incorrect.
"nice try maci, but not close. please take a seat.
I walked over and plopped down in my chair. and waited desperately for the bell to ring. when it did, I shot up and out the door. I had study hall next hour, but I would go to the gym and work on tucking and such. the bell interrupts my thoughts and I shoot up and walk out the door.
