Nobody Will Know (completed)

chapter 3

Narrator's pov:
After Annie's first day of school, she talked to Katie a lot in between classes, in class, over text message, and even at lunch, since Katie invited Annie to sit at her lunch table. Mackenzie still talks to Annie, but she has her other friends so she is not jealous that Katie and Annie became so good of friends, which is a good thing. A few weeks after Annie came to public school, she was talking to Katie about hanging out outside of school.

Annie's pov:
"How about my house?" Katie asked me, looking down at her phone at lunch. "Yeah, we can do that. But, my only free time and day is Saturday at 3:00 to 7:30. Can we hang out then?" I said. Katie said yes so it was official. I was finally going to Katie's house!

Saturday at 3:30pm (text messages)
K- katie texting          A- annie texting
A: Hey I got dismissed from gym early, can I come now?
K: Yeah sure. Just reminding you that my address is 21 jump street.
A: kk
K: Oh yeah, also that my brothers are home so I will make sure that they don't bother us.
A: Okay, sounds good! See you in 5 mins
K: ok bye
A: bye

Annie's pov:
I thought, " I am actually excited to meet Katie's family. Especially her brother. I've never seen  him in school, so it was exciting to actually meet someone that I never get to see in school. I wondered if Brennan looked exactly like Katie. That would cool, but creepy. I will just see for myse..."

"Bye Annie! Love you!" my mom said, snapping me back into reality. I just walked out of the car and knocked on her door.
Katie opened the door about 30 seconds after I knocked and she welcomed me in. Her house was normal sized, but good sized. She led me into her room until I got in the way of him.
"Oh yeah! Annie, this is my brother Brennan," Katie said. I just froze and looked into his eyes. I couldn't stop looking at him until I actually got the courage to say, "Hi, nice to meet you."

Brennan's pov:
I looked down at a glimpse of brown hair. I couldn't help but look at her, but snapped back when she said, "Hi, nice to meet you." I just said back nice to meet you too and walked away.

There was something in her that made me have butterflies in my stomach, but I don't know what it was exactly. Maybe it was her brown eyes, her brown hair, her rosey cheeks, her anything.

Annie's pov:
I couldn't help but think about Brennan the whole time at Katie's house. There was something about him that I thought of inside that made me blush outside. "Annie, are you okay?" Katie asked, really concerned. I just looked at her and shook my head yes.

Remember when I said that I really hope that I could find someone that was more than a friend to me? Well, I just did. And this is where it all began.
