first kiss - 2Doc

where: murdoc's bedroom on plastic beach
who: 2D and murdoc
murdoc finally tells 2D that he loves him.

"oi, 2D! git yer bum ass up!" murdoc's voice boomed from the metal door that he opened.

2D jolted awake, almost falling off the bed. he gasped and screamed.

"c'mon, you dullard," murdoc said and started walking out of the room.

2D rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and stretched. the bruises that lined his sides ached and he brought his hands to them. he stood up, losing his balance almost immediately.

he fell onto the floor with an "oof!" his bum hurt even more than before.

"oi, what're ya doin, ya plonker?!" murdoc growled and turned around to face 2D.

2D was rubbing his waist and hips. "I-I fell."

"then git yer ass up!" murdoc yelled impatiently.

2D cowered back in absolute horror. "I-I'm sorry...!" he covered his face with his cold hands.

"git up!" murdoc screamed at him, slapping his face.

2D whined, scooting back and trying to get up. "d-d-don't hurt me, please!" he stood up and started crying, rubbing his cheek with one hand.

"shut up!" murdoc yelled and stamped his foot. his face was blood red with anger. he began to walk back out of the room.

2D, only in his underwear, followed closely behind, quietly sobbing. he didn't want to live like this anymore, it was slowly tearing him apart.

although 2D definitely did love murdoc, he just couldn't live with his favourite person beating him everyday. he confessed his love before, but murdoc was drunk and didn't remember.

murdoc, however, never told 2D about his love for him. he did, indeed, love him a great amount. he just couldn't "ruin" his image.

2D wanted to know if murdoc loved him, so the only way to know was to ask.

when they reached the recording studio, stu grabbed murdoc's hand. murdoc's head snapped around and he growled.

"what d'you want?!" murdoc yelled. 2D backed up a bit, but still kept his grip on murdoc's hand.

"mahdoc, d'yew love me?" 2D asked with a straight face. he whispered and looked down when he realised what he just asked.

"w... what? say it louda!" murdoc said, not too loud, though.

"um, d'yew... love me?" 2D's eyes scanned the room. he tried to avoid eye contact with murdoc but murdoc's hand moved his chin upward to face him.

"stu..." murdoc sighed. "... yes." murdoc took both of his hands back and placed them on 2D's shoulders.

2D closed his eyes and gasped, but murdoc's touch was more gentle than usual.

murdoc leaned in and his lips met 2D's.

2D's eyes snapped open and he whimpered a bit, but he kissed back.

the kiss was at least thirty seconds, but it was nice. so many feelings swarmed around the men's heads such as confusion, love, and happiness.

murdoc pulled back and smiled. that was the first time he'd ever seen murdoc fully smile.

"that was nice fo' a first kiss," 2D said and smiled.

"it sure was." murdoc pulled 2D into a hug. it was an odd feeling stu as he'd never been hugged like that before, but he hugged murdoc back.

murdoc sighed deeply. "I love you, stu. I'm sorry for being an asshole all these years. forgive me?" murdoc asked, looking up at stu.

"yah, I forgive you, mudz." 2D surprised both himself and murdoc by kissing him.
