malfunction [ part 2 ] - cynu, 2doc, and russdel

continuation of "malfunction [ part 1 ]."

murdoc picked up the metallic "corpse" and carried her to the basement where her station was. he sat her down on the table and she slumped back, her jaw opening widely and almost falling off.

noodle followed him and she brought her hands to her hairline, pulling her hair back. "please, hurry and fix her." noodle sighed and hiccupped.

"I will, doll. I promise." murdoc plugged her up to the wall, inserting all sixty nodes into her.

suddenly, cy's head twisted to the side, her jaw closing. her eyes opened, but instead of her irises being green, they were a shade crimson. oil leaked from her mouth and eyes once again.

cyborg's eyes met with murdoc's discoloured ones and she gritted her teeth.

2D came downstairs to join them, but his black eyes widened when he saw cy's hands gripping onto murdoc's neck. she was strangling him and he was trying his best to pull her away.

"no!!" 2D screamed out and ran towards murdoc. he tried to pry them apart, but it was no use. cy was too strong.

noodle joined 2D, as well. "cy!! stop!" tears streamed down her face as she pulled her arms off of murdoc.

2D hugged murdoc immediately and he breathed in deeply for air.

cyborg stared blankly ahead and her neck sparked. "cy, are you o-"

cy's voice box began to play random dialogue and her mouth opened widely.

"cy?!" noodle placed her hands on cy's shoulders but cyborg jerked back and the dialogue got louder.

noodle jumped and her hand covered her mouth.

murdoc finally got his breathing even and reached his arm out to flip the switch off. oddly, the switch was still off.

"but, how is she still-- fuck!" murdoc got cut off by cyborg jumping onto him. her dialogue stopped and she wrapped her hands around his neck again.

"nonono!" noodle tried to pull cy off. "quit it! please!" her voice cracked and squeaked as she screamed out.

cy went limp. she fell to the floor with a very loud "clunk." her eyes still had a red glow to them.

murdoc gasped and 2D bawled behind them. "wh-what's happening, murdoc?" he asked and twiddled his fingers nervously.

"I... I don't know." murdoc stood up and picked cy up again, placing her back on the table.

noodle grabbed her hand and held it. she brought it to her mouth and kissed it softly.

cy's eyes slowly changed their shade back to green and ceased the horrifying aura.

"cy...?" noodle asked and her eyebrows furrowed.

cyborg blinked and looked down at noodle. "ye--ha--yea--h--yeh--a?" it was difficult for her speak. maybe her voice box broke?

"are you okay? your voice..." noodle squeezed her hand.

"I--I am--am--am--a--" her head sparked and noodle squealed, jumping. cy fell limp again and her eyes closed.
