Chapter Twenty-Two

Phil got into his car and began to drive.

He had no clue where he was going to go; he just drove.

He continued driving, pleasantly passing all the apartments. Some were nicer, like Dan and his', well Dan's. Then there were not as high quality ones.

That's where Phil had a fault.

At one of the many rows of brick buildings, was Kate's car.

It couldn't be though, right? Kate was with her friends.

The car though, had the same stickers, scratches, a taped light and Phil decided to confirm that was not, in fact, his wife's car.

He parked and went to look into the familiar window of the front seat.

There so many concerning objects in it: a plastic bag with green plant shreds in it, needles, but there was one object that stood out as the worst.

It was one of the baby bump simulator strap-ons.

Why the hell did she have that?

The blue eyed boy backed away from the car, both appalled and angry.

He strode to the door Kate's car was parked in front of, grabbing his phone out of his pocket in case he was wrong and needed to text the girl.

However, the site he walked into when he shoved the door open caused him to drop the phone just as he felt the vibration of a message.

There was so much smoke around the two on the sofa and Phil wanted to throw up at the strong scent of weed.

A very out of breath Kate sat up at the sound of the phone smacking against tile.

"What the hell is going on here?" The stunned boy asked as Kate immediately jumped from her position on the couch.

"P-Phil, it's not what it seems-"

"How can it not be?!" The blond only had a bra and panties with noticeably no pregnancy bump.

"Phil, I...I'm not pregnant. I was only using you for money, but I'm sorry! I've grown to actually like you, you're such a nice person and I...I'm sorry..." She was face to face with her husband at this point, bawling her eyes out.

"What?! Kate, what the hell?! We're done, I'm leaving." Phil grabbed his phone and began to walk out.

"No! Baby, please don't leave me!"

But he did and when he reaches his car, he checked his phone only to find it completely destroyed to the point of no use.

The last of his many problems being he had no clue where to go,

so he decided to see his best friend.
