Phil didn't drop the phone this time. Instead he called 999 and rushed to his car.

"Hello, 999 how can we help you?"

"I got a very unnerving text and I think my friend is in trouble."

"Okay, what's their address? Or where are they?" The lady on the phone questions and Phil eagerly answers.

"Alright, our officers will be there as fast as they can." Then the phone hangs up.

The panicked boy finally arrives at his old apartment, slamming the door open, only to be greeted with shouting and skin on skin sounds.

The noises lead him to the bathroom and he has to double take the sight.

Dan is sobbing, murmuring 'sorry's as Charlie kicks him one last time before turning to an enraged Phil.

"Why the fuck are you here?! Did this fucker tell you to come here again?!"

Before the psycho could continue talking, Phil punched him in the jaw.

There was a blood curdling scream, but it was from Dan.

"NO! Don't h-hurt him!" He screeches, but Charlie was already out.

Phil took in the vulnerable boy's appearance. He only had boxers on, there was blood spilling from the side of his head, and bruises, cuts, blood, and whip marks among other things, all over his body.

"Dan, I'm so sorry I didn't come sooner. It's okay now though, you're safe..." He takes a step towards the trembling boy.

"NO! Get away from me! Don't hurt me! Please don't hurt me!" Phil's heart broke at Dan's screaming.

"It's me, Phil. I'd never hurt you."

Dan backed away from him, burying his face in his knees, "Yes you will, you have been for weeks... Don't touch me!"

"Dan that wasn't me, but if you don't want me to touch you, I promise I won't-"

The brown haired boy launched himself at Phil, his shaky body clinging to Phil tightly, sobbing into his shoulder.

Phil wrapped his arms around him, being careful of his marks.

"Sh..It's okay Dan. You're safe. The police are on their way, he won't hurt you anymore..."
