I sat with Haley on my lap as we sat on the couch in the living room. I was flipping through a scrapbook that I had made a while back.

"Look, and there's a picture of Mommy and Auntie Kat. We're goofy, huh?" I said as I pointed to the picture before tickling Haley. She giggled and batted at my hand, before reaching out and touching the picture.

"Can you turn the page, Hales?" I asked her as I looked down at her. I smiled as Haley took the side of the page and turned it.

"Good job, baby!" I said as I kissed her head. My smile faltered as I looked down and saw that the next picture was one of Jacob and I.

"And there's a picture of Mommy and Daddy. Can you say 'Mama,' Hales?" I asked her. Haley shook her head as she touched this picture as well.

"How about 'Dada?'" I asked her. Haley just pointed to the picture of Jacob.

"Very good Haley. That's Dada." I said as I gave her a little hug.

"How about we go for a walk, huh? C'mon." I said as I closed the album and set it on the coffeetable, before standing up with her.

After walking around the neighborhood a few times, we were finally heading back the house. I was pushing Haley in her stroller, swerving it from side to side, making her giggle. I stopped at the curb across from our house and was looking down the street on both sides to make sure that it was clear when something made me freeze.

"Dada." Haley blurted out suddenly, then giggled.

"What?!" I said as I looked down at her. I saw her holding her feet and kicking them with a grin on her face as she looked over at our house. My gaze slowly rose up and my breath caught in my throat at what I saw Jacob.

Jacob, Kat, and Embry stood in the driveway next to the Rabbit. Jacob had a slight smile on his face as he looked over at me. I glanced over at Kat and Embry, who were both looking equally guilty. I took a deep breath and straightened up. I checked for cars once more, before crossing the street slowly. I pushed the stroller up to them and stopped.

"Hi, guys." I barely choked out.

"Hey, Ronnie." Jacob said to me.

"What are y'all doing here?" I asked as I forced a smile onto my face and looked over at Kat and Embry.

"I'm so sorry!" Kat mouthed to me. I glared at her for a second, before turning to Jacob.

"The others wanted to see you and since we were in the neighborhood, I agreed." He said with a shrug of his shoulders. My jaw clenched, but I forced the smile back onto my face as I looked back over at them.

"Really? That's so...sweet." I said, before walking around them and heading up to the house. I picked the stroller up once we got to the porch and set it next to the door as I pulled my key out. I slipped it into the lock and unlocked the door, before opening it. I grabbed Haley's stroller and pushed it inside, the others close behind me.

Once inside, I pushed Haley's stroller over to the living room. Walking around, I bent down in front of her and took her out.

"Why the hell would you bring him here?!" I whispered loudly to Kat and Embry.

"He wanted to come, honest!" Kat exclaimed.

"Yeah, we tried to stop him, but it didnt work." Embry added.

"I'm going to kill you both. Just thought that you should know." I said as I stood up with Haley in my arms and turned to them. I saw Jacob giving them a look before he turned back to look at me.
