IMPORTANT AUTHOR'S NOTE: This chapter is rated M (mature) due to some swearing. You'll get to meet Ronnie's sister Phoebe and her much more lovable sister-in-law Jamie. You'd get to know the truth about why Jacob left Ronnie and read about the night from his point of view. It took me hours to finish this chapter so I really really hope you guys like it xD

Kat's POV

Embry and I sat awkwardly across from Jacob and Bella in Jacob's room the morning after Ronnie left. I kept my hands balled into fists and my mouth shut so I wouldn't say something I shouldn't. I had promised Ronnie that I wouldn't say anything to him, so I would keep my word and just keep my mouth shut. It was safer for him that way.

I typed away on my laptop. Glancing over at Embry, I saw him glaring at Jacob and Bella as Jacob pulled her closer and they looked over the computer screen. As I watched Jacob press a kiss to Bella's cheek, I felt something snap finally in both Embry and myself. Embry was the first to act on these feeling as he stood up, pushing his chair back so hard that it almost tipped.

"Bella, would you mind excusing us. We need to talk to Jacob alone." Embry gritted out, spitting out "Jacob" like it was a dirty, dis-tasteful word on his tongue. Bella looked from Embry, to me, to Jacob, and raised an eyebrow. Jacob nodded his head and kissed her again.

"It's okay. I'll call you later." He said as he stood up and walked her to the door. Bella left reluctantly, and it wasnt until the door was closed that I realized I had been holding my breath. I let it out slowly as Jacob turned and walked over to us again.

"What is it, Em? What do you need to talk to me about?"

"So, how's Ronnie?" Embry spit at him. I felt Embry's anger rolling off him in waves as he clenched and unclenched his fists at his side. Jacob just shrugged his shoulders and went to sit back down again. That's when Embry made his move. He moved so fast, I didnt realize that he was pushing Jacob up against the wall until Jacob's back hit the wall, shaking the room a little.

"What is you problem?! Why are you being such an ass?!" Embry screamed in Jacob's face as he held Jacob by the scruff of his shirt against the wall. Surprisingly, Jacob kept a calm look on his face as he looked into Embry's eyes. I stood shocked next to the table as I watched Embry grip Jacob's shirt tighter in his fists and push him harder against the wall.

"Huh? Why did you do that to Ronnie? How could you do that to her?" Embry questioned.

"It's none of your business, Embry." Jacob said coolly and calmly. That's when my anger bubbled to the surface.

"Bullshit. Ronnie is our friend, our sister, and you broke her heart like a twig. Excuse me, but it is more our business than anyone's, you son of a bitch." I spat at him as I crossed my arms over my chest.

"She left." Was all Jacob said. I rolled my eyes and scoffed at the man in front of me that had supposedly loved my best friend.

"Did you honestly think that she would stick around after finding out that you slept with another woman while still with her? Come on, Jacob. You are not that stupid." I said. Jacob seemed to have no response to this. Embry finally let go of Jacob and backed away from him.

"Who are you?" Embry muttered as he backed up. His shaggy brown hair fell in his eyes as he shook his head and walked towards the door.

"Go run off to your lover. We will worry about the New Borns." I said to Jacob as I grabbed my laptop and headed of the room. Just as I reached the door, I changed my mind and turned around. Walking over to Jacob, I stopped in front of him and looked him dead in the eye. He looked into mine just as I raised a hand and swiped it across his cheek. Hard.
