Okay, so for some reason, all of my stories dont have a skipped line anymore which make them hard to read. I'm sorry about his but I have no time to go into every single chapter I wrote and fix this. Thanks for reading and I'm up to 100 fans!!! Thanks everyone who fanned and supported me while I was writing and to think I've been on Wattpad for much less than a year! Now, on with the story! ;D

The evening after my little confession with Jacob, I had woke up after crying for a good couple of hours and found a note taped to my door. It was in Jacob's handwriting and just said,

"Gone on a patrol. Be back whenever." That had been two weeks ago. I had soon discovered that Embry and Kat had tagged along, leaving the house to myself, with the exception of Haley and the occasional drop-in from Coop since he worked all the time. You could only guess my surprise, and slight fear, when I woke up to someone messing around in the kitchen when I was supposed to still be home alone. I quickly got out of bed and went over to my desk. I walked over to my closet and grabbed a baseball bat out. Slowly and quietly, I crept out of my room and down the hall towards the kitchen. I slipped into the kitchen, gripping the bat tightly in my left hand as I kept my eyes open. I looked around, but didnt spot anyone. Then, I heard someone behind me. I spun around and went to attack whoever, or whatever, it was, but paused when I realized who it was. I let out a quiet growl as I lowered the bat and stepped backawrds so that I wasnt so close to Jacob.

"Sorry. We got in last night and didnt want to wake you." He said as I walked over to the cabinet and grabbed a coffee mug. I rolled my eyes as I walked over to the coffee maker and poured myself a cup of the already brewed coffee.

"Mind if I have a cup?" he asked as he walked over and grabbed a mug. I just rolled my eyes again and walked over to the table.

"How's Haley?" he questioned as he poured some coffee into his cup. I just sat down and sipped at my coffee.

"So now you're ignoring me? Lovely." Jacob muttered as he took a sip of his coffee and rolled his eyes. I just pulled the newspaper that was sitting on the table already towards me and started flipping through it. My gaze rose as I heard someone coming towards the kitchen and smiled as Kat entered.

"Morning, Kit Kat." I called brightly as I took another sip of my coffee.

"Morning, Ron." She replied with a warm smile as she walked towards the counter to get her own coffee. I saw Jacob scowl and roll his eyes from the corner of my eye, but I ignored it.

"How are you doing this morning, hun?" Kat asked me as she walked over to the table and grabbed some of the newspaper.

"I'm pretty good. What about you?" I asked as I returned my attention to the newspaper in front of me. I saw Kat shrug a little as she rolled her shoulders.

"A little stiff, but pretty good." She replied. I smiled and nodded.

"Good. Oh, can you watch Haley tonight?" I asked hopefully. Kat perked an eyebrow as she looked at me with interest.

"Sure, but why?" she asked, smirking. I smiled as I shrugged lightly. "I have another date." I replied happily. I heard Jacob sputter and choke on his coffee in the background, making me smirk lightly.

"A what?" he choked out. Kat and I both rolled our eyes and shook our heads lightly. I tried to hide the fact that I was slightly angry. He could go out with whoever he wanted but I couldn't? Then, Kat's attention was back to me as a smile spread across her lips.

"Another date with that cutie photographer you were telling me about?" she asked. I smiled and nodded as I took another sip of my coffee.

"His name is Logan and not only is he a cutie, but a sweetie as well. He is so good with Haley. I was so surprised that he didn't mind that I had a kid." I gushed as I bit my lower lip slightly.
