Wearing only a green cami, underwear, and my bathrobe, I knelt next to the bathtub, rinsing all the baby shampoo from Haley's hair. She splashed around in the water as I gently poured some on her head with a little plastic cup. When all the water was gone from the cup, I checked to make sure that I had gotten all the soap out.

"All right, Hales. Time to get out." I told her when I found that she was completely clean. 

"No!" she squealed as I turned to get a towel to dry her off with.

"Yes." I said as I turned back to her. "Up you go." I said as I stood her up on her feet. Picking the towel back up, I gathered her up in it and lifted her out of the tub. Her squeals and laughter filled my ears as I did so.

"Now wait here for a second." I told my little toddler as I set her on the floor and turned back to unplug the bathtub. Pressing the little lever down, I heard the water start down the drain. 

When I turned back to dry Haley off, I found her towel on the floor and the door that had been open only an inch now wide open. She was no where in sight.

"Haley?" I called out. Suddenly I heard her squeal of laughter in the hallway, making me scramble towards the door. Looking down the hall, I found Haley running buck naked in the direction of the living room. Groaning to myself I snatched her towel off the floor and chased after her.

"Haley, get back here!" I called after her. This made her glance back over her shoulder at me, not seeing Kat step out in front of her.

"Whoa, streaker baby." Kat said with a smile as she leaned down and picked Haley up. I caught up to them and held my arms out for my little girl. Kat chuckled as she set Haley in my arms, allowing me to wrap the towel around her.

"Got away from you again?" she asked in an amused voice.
I rolled my eyes and nodded.

"She's gotten more wild since he left. Speaking of which, have they come home yet?" I asked.

"Nope, but Embry said that they were on their way when I talked to him last night." Kat told me.

"I swear to God, I will wring Jacob's neck if he stands me up today." I grumbled as I turned and headed down the hall towards Haley's nursery. Kat's laughter filled my ears as I went, making me roll my eyes again.
