lena's POV:

my mom had told me that i would be babysitting a couple of kids for the day. Turns out the kids parents are close to my mom and dad, they only wanted to babysit them so they could catch up with old times. I could have gone with my friends to the park or something like that but no, im heading over to this house. They say i might need some help with the kids but i actually am good with little ones. they just are cute and need the right things to keep them happy.

I knocked at the door and a lady around her middle ages opened the door and greeted me very welcoming. The house was big and fairly cozy. I noticed that i had to be babysitting more than one kid. Turns out it would be 5 kids. All different and unique. Good thing they were really adorable. They look familiar to me but somehow i couldn't put a finger around it. The lady left with my parents and i entertained the little ones by singing little songs and doing some coloring. They seemed to like me alot, which was a good thing. one kid i was looking after seemed to always want me around his presence. A male voice came through the door startling me.

Riker's POV:

i wanted to visit my cousins since i haven't really seen them in awhile and i missed them alot. Auntie told me that she was out and someone babysitting them and she asked me if i could just see if she was doing well with the kids. I couldn't say no to her. I said hello through the hallways and suddenly little ones ran towards me tackling me to the floor. It was fun and all but i got slightly tired out. They were all so playful, that i couldn't get myself up. In my sight, i saw this very pretty girl and she helped me get the little ones off me. She smiled at me and got the kids to go play in the other room. " sorry about them, they were alittle over excited then" she said sweetly. " no problem i know what they are like" i replied back. " so um not to be rude or anything but who are you?" she asked me " im riker, im their older cousins to the kids your babysitting" i told her. " ohh that's cool, im lena!" she said but before i could say anything else, one of the little ones who i like to call mini riker, since he's alot like me, came in and begged Lena to do something fun with them. She couldn't refuse to him so she went off walking towards the kitchen with me trailing behind.

Lena's POV:

When i first say Riker my instant thought was cute. He seemed really nice and caring sort of guy. Thankfully he was here since it was starting to get awfully lonely being the only teenager in the house. I wanted to do one thing that i liked seeing little kids do which was baking. So we did. I made the batter for the cookies and baked them. Riker offered to help me by getting all the directions ready for the kids to use. Once the cookies were done, i handed one cookie for each kid. They were piping and sprinkling away which made me laugh. Riker told the kids to go the living room while i was cleaning the kitchen and getting their juices ready for them. After i was done, i went over to them and gave them the drinks. They were all peaceful and calm. " lena why don't you take a seat here, it must be hard standing for too long" he said to me and i was about to but then Mini Riker held my hand and made me sit next to him. It went riker, him and then me. I wanted to get close to Riker since he seemed to be really nice. So we talked and he told me stories that made me laugh. he asked me a question which I never thought he would ask " soo... any boyfriend waiting for you back home?" i shook my head. " not many boys are attracted to me and im fine with that really why you ask?" he looked at me full of shock. " seriously, you not having a boyfriend, that's crazy! i for one would like a girl as awesome as you to be mine..." riker said making me blush. I didn't see the other kids staring at us until the little girl said " RIk!!! Rik!! kiss her! kiss her!!" that made me laugh uncomfortably. Next thing i knew was Riker's lips were on mine. Soft and slow and just pure sweetness! when he pulled away he didn't really want to same as me but Mini Riker caught in the middle kept shouting " cooties!! cooties!! RIKER NO KISSING HER, MINE! she got cooties now thanks to you!" he pouted and crossed his arms. Riker said to him " maybe when your older, little guy she'll be yours" after he went over to me and made me sit on his lap. IN the end of the day, we switched numbers and somehow ended up dating. I love babysitting from then on especially for the his cousins.
