Delaney's POV:

*flashback*

it was my first day at my new school. Any 7 year old would be scared. New people and new bigger place. It isn't the same without my old friends. I just wish I didn't have to move. But mom said it's the land where dreams come true. I thought she meant Disney Land but turns out it was a place called the suburgatory. It was quite posh if I would say. The kids round the place was alot like there mums. After getting dropped off at the school, I was shown round to all the places. Some people looked nicer than others. Came into class and I had no where to sit. My teacher told me to sit next to this blonde girl called Rydel.

"hey i'm Rydel!" She said quite cheerfully

" i'm Delaney" repleid back

" so what you like to do?" She asked me

" ummm sing alittle" I said shyly

" no way me too!"

With that I made a new best friend. At recess she should me her friends which was nice of her to do. They seem to like me and want me to be a part of them. Maybe moving here was a good thing. Made a new best friend didn't I. Me and Rydel was talking when a blonde guy walked towards us. I started to get this feeling that wasn't familiar. He had cute eyes if I do say so myself. One of my new friends shouted "Hey delly, Riker's here!" I thought for a second that she and Riker was together. They were friendly to each other and I was jealous of Rydel.Riker and Rydel started arguing which to me was sort of good I guess. Then I heard him say "don't make me tell Mom!" Oh they're siblings? Guess I was really glad. Starting to get this weird feeling towards him.

*flashback done*

I can't believe that me and Rydel have been friends for that long. She gets me like noone ever does. She crazy, I crazy! We do everything together. Even after all these years we're still best friends. Freshman year! This was the time where sometimes people change and move away form each other. I never want that to happen with us. She started a band with her siblings and a family friend. But she has this thing for him. Rydel and Ellington, they are so cute! I was by my locker getting all my things to go home until I saw him. Riker Anthony Lynch. Yes after all these years I still have that funny feeling towards him. Found out that I like him. He treats me like a princess and always makes me laugh. And when we have to study together and he wears his glasses, I get all smiley. I can't help it, he just so perfect. But he would never like me. All I am to him is his baby sister's best friend.

Riker's POV:

Well all I need to do was find Rydel and probably Delaney and go home. Delaney she quite the girl. Like she's funny and dorky. But it's the cute dorky. She has this cute smile and I just well like her. Oh who am I kidding. I love her! Always wanted her to be my girlfriend, the one I call mine. Maybe this is year was going to change if I asked her to be officially mine. Rydel said she and her would be using the pool today. Great! she in a bikini! I like... alot! Time to make her mine.

We all went home, me driving of course. All I could hear was Delaney laughing and being all cute. God why does she have to be so cute!? After we got home, everyone rushed up and put on there swimsuits. I had to make my move today or I 'll never. She came down looking so damn hot! I could tell I was drooling. She walked past and smiled at me. While she out in the back getting a tan I brought out some drinks to cool us down. We were alone. It was the perfect time. But what if she says no. what if she reject me! this could be the end of everything! It was now or never!

" hey delaney!" I said giving her a drink

" hey Riker so hot today isn't it?!" she said fanning herself

" really hot! why dont we take a swim" i asked her boldly

" sure why not" she said getting ready to dive in the pool

" together count of 3" we counted and jumped

Delaney's POV:

I was swimming with my crush! ahh can't even cope. he looks so hot and i think i'm burning up cause of him. He came closer and I just wasn't forming any speech. He held my waist ever so close. and we dunked underwater. my eyes was ope being goofy, Riker leaned in and so did I...

I felt a soft pair of moist lips. perfect shape perfect everything. I was kissing my crush. my ever so cute sweet and charming crush!. nothing could top that kiss. it was underwater and was beyond romantic. we went back up in the surface and smiled at each other.

" delaney I got to tel you something" he said

"yea what is it?" i asked nervously

" would you be... my girlfriend?" he said holding my hand

" yes a thousand millions yes" i said kissing him

that was the best way to the star of the year. best friend forever with Rydel. And new boyfriend who I could never give up on.
