Riker's POV:

Me and Shelby have been together for quite awhile now and I haven't really told anyone since me and her are going slow and steady. Don't want to rush anything. Shelby and I was hanging at the frozen yogurt place having such a fun time. She was taking pictures of me having some of the yogurt on my face. Oh my she giggled. That one giggle makes my knees weak and it was just perfect moment. I was leaning into kiss her. I was just inches away when I heard a familiar voice.

" Riker?! what brings you here?" my brother Ryland asked

" umm eating what you doing here?" i told him while holding Shelby's hand

"I was going to get some yogurt but turns out I walked into you kissing a pretty girl" he winked at shelby. Really dude really!

" Dude back off my girl" I told him while smiling at her

"I didn't know Rik, so gonna tell me her name or is she always gonna be known as pretty"

" Name's Shelby" She told him sweetly

" Ryland nice to meet you and you picked a good guy" Ryland told her

I decided to let Ryland hang with us since he would tell the family and I wanted to tell them when I knew me and shelby were ready. When Ryland went to get some more toppings for his yogurt I looked at Shelby.

Shelby's POV:

Never thought I would meet my boyfriend's brother at this place, quite funny if you ask me. Riker was a real sweetheart and made me feel special with him, I guess I did pick the good guy. I normally would fall for a bad boy but Riker made me realize that good guys are way better. He would always hold my hand and keep me safe. We haven't told anyone about us it was like a little secret between us. It was quite a good thing.

" baby I know we agreed that we won't tell anyone till we're both ready and i'm sorry I told him without asking you I shouldn't have" He said to me

" baby don't worry about it, I kinda liked that you did that" I told him smiling

" really?! well would you like to meet the rest of the family?" he asked shyly

" I would love to Riker" I said to him leaning in for a kiss

Just our luck, Ryland came back just before my lips touched Riker's. Talk about a real cockblock.We told Ryland that we were going back to there house and meet the rest of the family. God I was so nervous. What if they don't like me?

Riker's POV:

The entire car ride, Ryland was going on and on about how he was into this girl and I was just laughing on how he was loved up by her. And yet he still hasn't made a single move on her. He should maybe he'll fall in love like I did with Shelby. Finally arrived back at home and it was now or never. I opened her door and helped her get off the car, can you call me a gentleman or what? She was smiling and blushing which made me want to kiss her so bad. I was going to when I leaned into the car and the alarm went off. Wow bad timings if you ask me. I held her hand and walked through the door, Ross and Rocky and Ellington was playing some video game while Rydel was making food. Typical afternoon if you ask me. I shut the door and they all turned out.

" Hey Riker!" they all shouted

" Riker want a sandwhich?" Rydel asked when she walked in

" Nah i'm alright, do you want one Shelby?" I asked her and she shook her head

" who's shelby?" Rocky asked while turning which made the others turn around

" woah she's hot!" Ross shouted

" Does everyone have to say that about my girlfriend isn't it obvious?" I said kissing her cheek

" you guys go out?" My siblings shouted

" yea i know right crazy!" Ryland commented on making me glare at him

The entire day was spent getting to know each other. Rocky was showing her how he plays the guitar while Ross was just talking how many girls love him. Rydel and Ellington was playing games which made everyone think that something was going on between them.

Shelby's POV:

I got along with everyone which was a good thing. Me and Rydel were already best friends and it was so much fun having a best friend like her. Rocky and Ross always trying to impress me but I still have my one love which was Riker. He and I manged to sneak away and be alone for a second.

"thanks for introducing me to your family baby" I said to him

" you had to meet them sooner or later baby" he said holding my hand

" they are really fun to be around" i told him

" you know baby i have not kissed you all day" he said to me leaning it

" well alot of people stop us" i said wrapping arms around him

our lips met and we kissed so perfectly. It was a sweet as candy and it was just so addictive. We were kind of getting heated until we heard someone giggle and snigger

"go get some riker!" Rocky said making us all laugh
