--- Jimmy's POV ---
"Johnathan!!" I heard the teacher yell at Ghost again and tried to wake Ghost myself, but only so I didn't have to sit through another detention. He wouldn't wake up though... was he dead??... Can people just die like that?... Eh, I don't really care if he is. To be honest, if he is, that'd make coming back to myself a lot easier.
"Johnathan, wake up this instant!!" Well, might as well take over, since Ghost isn't getting up, right? Hah. I opened my eyes slowly, pretending to have just woken up. The teacher scoffed and walked back to her desk angrily, I couldn't help but smirk a little at that. I'm sure someone saw. I sat up and stretched my arms, nearly hitting the kid next to me. I apologized but they just ignored me, like normal. I looked around the room to see what everyone was doing then looked down at the papers infront of me. Oh, math... I hate you.
Just a I picked up my pencil to start working, the bell rang, signaling the end of class as well as my redemption. Biology is next, I think. That's our best and worst subject. Ghost always gets frustrated with the teacher because she refuses to acknowledge ghosts as real beings.. but hey, we always pass the tests and such, so it's fine. Not to mention the fact that I pretty much watched only nature shows for a few years straight.
As w-- I was walking down the hall to the next class, I couldn't help but feel like I was being watched. I'd look around, but no one was even looking at me. Still, I felt that feeling... it made me really uneasy. I eventually stopped and looked around just to confirm that no one was watching me. Of course, then everyone was looking at me because I'd stopped infront of a crowd of people, but it wasn't them, I could tell. I sighed and shook my head, turning to keep walking forward to our class. I took no more than three steps before screaming and falling back onto the ground. Everyone around me stopped and stared at me, but I didn't look at them. I was too fixed on what was infront of me, the impossible thing floating infront of me. It was her, somehow.. her eyes pure white, seemingly lifeless, yet still staring into my soul with a fierce hatred. He face was expressionless but still seeming to be sad. Her pale skin clashed against her pure black hair. The only color on her was the splashes of red around the top of her white dress, which was torn around the collar. Did no one else see her!?
I crawled back quickly as she floated down towards me, the air getting colder as she got nearer. Obviously, she's a ghost, right?? So why is she here?? Is she going to kill me?? I don't want to die, I didn't do anything wrong! I only did what I was supposed to! I soon felt my back hit something. I yelped and jumped up, immediately turning to face what I'd hit, only to see that it was another student. I stuttered an apology as if backed away from him, but then felt a cold hand grab the back of my neck. I tried to pull away but was too slow. The hand lifted me into the air, my feet kicking around for some ground to stand on. I screamed for the ghost to out me down, but she didn't. All she did was quickly fly out the back door, being ignorant of all the other students in the way which I had hit with my feet on complete accident. We flew past trees, cars, buildings, everything you'd expect to see in a town. We were going to fast, though, that I couldn't actually tell which buildings and cars we were passing. I'm sure this looked odd to anyone who saw it.
I'd given up in tying to get away and just let her do whatever it was she was doing. I have a feeling that if she was going to kill me, she would have done it already, right? Honestly, I'm just surprised she hasn't lost her grip yet, I mean.. Ghost isn't a light guy. She suddenly stopped in her tracks, sending me flying ahead onto the ground head first. Once I'd finished sliding along the ground, I shakily sat up and rubbed my head, groaning in pain. "The heck was that for..?" I looked up at her, barely opening my eyes. She didn't answer though. She just stood there. Completely motionless. I shrugged and got up, dusting myself off. I looked around and saw only a field of grass. Nothing else. "Why'd you bring me here?" No answer again. I sighed, "Alright.. which way is home?" Again, no answer. I groaned and started to walk in a random direction, only to be stopped by her flying infront of me and pushing me back. I stared at her then got up and tried going another way, only to have the same result. I gave her a confused look and she finally pointed, which I took as and sign on which way to go. I nodded at her then started walking that way, the ghost following me as I walked.
After a while of walking, I saw an old, abandoned farm house sitting in the middle a few trees. I gave her a confused look again, but she just nodded for me to continue. I sighed but continued anyway, sincerely hoping there was some reason for this.
