--- Ghost's POV ---

Ugh... ow, my head... I held my head and looked around, 'Where am I...?' As I scanned the area I noticed a person laying on the ground. After I saw it clearer, I noticed that they weren't just laying down.. they were dead!! I ran over and knelt next to the person, instantly recognizing them. "Katrina!! Katrina, no!!!" I hugged my friend, crying and calling for help. 'Not again, no, I can't lose soon again! First dad, then mom, then my brother, now my friend!! Why!? Why are they all dying!? What did I do?! Did I u-' "Johnny!!" I heard a familiar voice and looked up. I recognized them as one of my teachers, though my vision was blurred by tears. She gasped and covered her mouth, "O-Oh my gosh... W-What happened?!" "I don't know!!" She took Katrina's body from me and checked for a pulse, obviously not getting one, as I just sat there, crying, trying to figure out what I did to deserve this again.

"Ghost?!" I looked up, hearing the voice of my other, and now only, friend. He ran over and saw what was going on, instantly turning away. "J-Johnny, she...!" He nodded, looking to be on the verge of tears. The teacher told us to run back to school and get some other teachers to help. Toast ran over as I lagged behind, still not processing exactly what happened. I remember us entering the house, looking and failing to find ghosts, then leaving.. and then I was here... with Kati dead in front of me.. o-or maybe she isn't dead... maybe she's still alive! She has to be, she can't just die!! I sped up my running and caught up to Johnny, we both ran inside together. All the students and teachers looked tertified, I didn't know why until I noticed that I had blood on my from holding Kati. I didn't care though. Toast was the one who asked for help, getting a few teachers to follow him. I, on the other hand, was sent to the office to 'clean up and calm down.' Yeah, sure, I just saw my best friend dead in front of me! Hugs? No. Comfort? No! Just send me to the office!! Why does this world hate me!?

After I had a change of clothes on from the nurse, my grandparents arrived to pick me up. I heard the principal call them on the phone and tell them what she thinks happened. My grandparents both hugged me, my grandmother carrying me to the car. I clung to her, crying into her shoulder. Everyone I love is fading... I hope that's the end of the cycle.. no one else, please, I can't handle anymore... no one more... I felt myself being put in the car as I dell asleep from exhaustion.

--- Jimmy's POV ---

... it worked.. my plan worked!! They didn't suspect a thing!! Ha!! The kid's good!! We got away with it, Gre-... oh... right... you don't talk to me anymore.

Gregory, I know you're still in here. Just listen please. What I'm doing, it's for the best. I know you may not understand how, but it is. Trust me. I would never do anything to hurt you, remember? Nothing! This is all for good, it'll help. If no one knows my secret, that's great! You can be a normal kid!... Greg, please say something...

I gasped and this is when Ghost woke up. The sound of the box demon woke him, I guess...

--- Ghost's POV ---

I woke up back in my bed. It's way too bright in this room, I swear. I hate sun. It's stupid and annoying.

Not wanting to move or do anything, I just stayed there in my bed, staring at the ceiling and wishing the sun had an off switch. Maybe then I could sleep.

... so... Katrina's gone... yeah, fun... I wonder who's next.. Johnny? My grandparents?.... me...? I hope not... I dint want to die... though it's not like there's anything to live for. Family, friends, they're all gone. Yay... who will be next... I yawned and pulled the blankets over my head. I'm never getting up. Ever. I hugged my dino as I feel back to go sleep again.
