--- Gregory's POV ---

"Then why were you worwied...?" I look at him confused. "Well... you were just asleep for a long time, that's all..." "Oh...." I looked around then sat up. Johnny scooted back from the bed, allowing me to stand. I just sat on the edge of the bed, staring at the ground, not saying a word. Johnny eventually spoke up, "Is everything alright, Ghost?" I nodded, lying to him. I didn't want him to be mad at his brother. Then they'd fight again... it's scary when they do that...

"It's awfully late.. we should probably get to bed." I looked up and nodded. "You can sleep in my room if you'd like? I have a bunk bed and Gavin has his own room, so there's always an empty bed." I gasped and nodded happily, "Yeah!!" He smiled and led me to his room. "I guess you'll need some pajamas aswell, huh?" "Some what...?"
"Pajamas. You know, the clothes you were when you go to bed." I gave him a confused look and he sighed, "Do you not know what they are either?" I shook my head.
"No... I awways swept in these clothes.."
He cringed slightly, "You haven't washed those either, have you...?" I shook my head again. "Ew... erm.. H-How long has it been since you've had a bath?"
"Uhhhh.... I dunno."
He gagged and took some clothes from his dresser. "We'll have to fix that before you can wear these.."
"Alright...!" He smiled nervously and led me to their bathroom.
"You do know how to clean yourself, right...?"
"Uhh.. yeah, I fink so."
He sighed, "How old are you..?"
I smiled, "Six!!"
"And you're still talking like that? We're going to have to fix that.. mother won't put up with this for long."
"Sowwy... I used to tawk better..."
"Speak. You used to speak better."
"Huh?"
"Pronunciation and grammar... mother makes sure everyone who live n this house uses it properly." (Then she shouldn't let me be writing this book, Toast...)
"Uhh... o-okway..." Toast knocked on a door and his mother opened it soon after. Johnny asked to speak to his mother alone and she agreed. I stayed by the door and stared into space. There wasn't much else to do...

"Ghost?" I looked up and saw Toast's mother. She was still mad at me, but she still seemed kind. "Alright... let's get you cleaned up." She took my hand and led me to the bathroom. There as a huge tub in there! Everything in this house is so fancy!! "You know how to bathe yourself, correct?"
"Mhm!"
"Right.. I don't mean to be rude, but would you mind explaining to me how you take a bath?"
"You jump in the water and slash around and get out!" I smiled proudly then frowned when I heard her sigh.
"No, Ghost... you have to use soap too..."
"Soap??"
She stand at me then blinked and shook her head, "Yes, soap."
"What's soap?"
She signed again then held her head in her hands. "Oh mercy... You are going to be a handful. Here. I'll show you how to take a bath and then the next time you can try on your own. Is that okay with you?" I nodded and she put the clothes Johnny had for me on the counter. She ran the water and put in some bubbly stuff. She said that it makes taking a bath more fun. I didn't need the bubbles for it to be fun though! I'm getting to learn something new! This is exciting!!

Once the tub was full, I got in and she poured some liquidy stuff on a cloth. She handed it to me and told me to wash myself off with it. I didn't understand it at first so she took my arm and scrubbed it for me then let me continue with the rest of my body. Heh, this really is fun! I never really got to play in water because it hurt box friend.. but now I have to play in it!! This is aw-...! I froze and stared at the bubbles in front of me. W-Were they moving? They are! Why are they moving! They didn't move before!! I was getting scared and I addicentally dropped the cloth. Toast's mother heard the cloth drop in the water and she looked over at me. "Ghost? What's wrong?" I pointed to the moving bubbles. Whatever was moving, it was moving towards me!! I got more scared and backed away, hit the wall of the tub. "Oh. Its just a toy, dear." She reached in and pulled out the object. It was. It was a toy. A little sailboat! I smiled and looked at the boat. "Cool!" "Mhm.. there are some others in there too." She went back to reading her book as I played with the boat. I looked around for some of the other toys. I found another boat, a small ball, and some squishy cloth thing.

I played with them for a while then felt something hit my back. I turned to see what it was and screamed. I jumped out of the tub, accidentally soaking Johnny's surprised mom and probably ruining her book. I ran to the cabinets and hid in them, wrapping myself in one of the towels for protection. I saw it. I did, I saw it! Box friend, I saw one!! It tried to eat me box friend!! Hnnngg...

"Ghost?!" She got up and ran to the cabinet, opening the door. "Ghost, what in the world is the matter!? Are you hurt??"
"It twied to eat me!!"
"What?"
"It attacked me! I-It twied to eat me!!"
"What did?"
"The bird!!" I pulled the towel tighter on myself as I meanrioned that terrifying creature.
"Bird..? What bird?"
"The one in the water!!" She looked at me confused then got up and walked over to the tub. She looked around then bent over and pulled the bird out.
"This?"
I shreiked and closed the cabinet door again. "Yes!!"
".... Ghost, this is a toy..."
"It twied to eat me!!"
"Ghost, this is a duck made of rubber! It can't eat you!"
"It twied to though!!"
She sighed. ".... This is Johnny's favorite toys. It would never hurt one of Johnny's friends. It was probably just trying to hug you."
"Nu-uh! B-Birds are evwil!!" She sighed and looked at the yellow duck then dropped it back in the water. I opened the cabinet door when I heard the plop. Ha! I hope you drown! Stupid bird... "Come on, Ghost. It's time for bed now." I nodded, still terrified that the bird would come back and get me. She helped me get dressed then led me to Johnny's room.

I slept on the bottom bunk and Johnny slept on the top. It was a peaceful night... a warm bed.. soft, nice smelling clothes.. my dino plushie to cuddle, because I always bring it with me. Even if I don't tell people... and best of all, I felt safe. With box friend, I always had to be quiet and listen to see if anyone was coming to take us away. But not here. Everyone here belongs here. We are all allowed to be here. They care for me here! They really do. They're nice... I'm never leaving. No one will ever take me from this place. Never. I'm never leaving.
