--- Jimmy's POV ---
Yep. Definitely a mistake.
When he was within two steps of me, I threw the weapon down to the side and grabbed him by his stupid, fancy shirt collar, ramming him up against the barn wall, hearing the entire structure move and shake on contact. "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!?" I held him against the wall, pushing against his throat without realizing. He gagged and pulled at my hands. He stared at me in horror, his blue eyes wide as can be. The look on his face was enough to tell me to chill out. I let go of his shirt, letting him slide to the ground as he coughed, rubbing his throat. I rubbed the back of my neck, kneeling down, "S-Sorry..."
He coughed and looked at me, "What was that for!?"
"H-Heh... anger issues..?"
"SURE."
"Hey, you have NO idea what I've been through while you were who knows where!!"
"I was in England, thank you!"
"Well how was I supposed to know!?"
He groaned and shoved me back abit, "This is NOT how I'd planned our reunion."
"Well same goes for me, ya dumb Brit."
He looked at me abit hurt and I sighed, "Sorry. Like I said, been through a lot.."
"That's no excuse for--"
"A LOT." I gave him a sincere look and he sighed, nodding. "Want to talk about it?" He suggested. I nodded, standing up. He got up aswell, using the wall as support. We walked out of the barn and towards the old house."So, what's been happening?" He looked at me. I looked back, "Well, for one, I'm not Ghost." He was confused for a moment then nodded, "Right, Jimmy then?"
"Yeah."
"That explains the violence."
"Yep!" I smiled proudly, earning a bit of a grimace from Toast, "Geez, sorry.."
"It's fine.." he sighes, obviously not truly okay with it. "So, problems. Go."
"Well, that box thing? Were you there for that? I can't remember anymore honestly. Anyway, was back a few years ago. It messed with our mind. Ghost's specifically. He would wear Ghost down every day until Gregory could overpower Ghost. Then he would play with Gregs until he passed out from exhaustion. We missed so many days of school. And not only that, but we lost, well Ghost lost, all memory of this. About two years, he forgot. I don't even know why. Everytime I try to look back at what happened, it's all foggy and gives me a headache... I may not even be telling the story right. I can't tell when I'm lying or telling the truth anymore..." I sighed, looking at Toast who was flipping through a book, "Any ideas?"
He was silent for a few moments before nodding, "A few, but nothing really I think I should share."
"Why not?"
"Because they make you angry and I don't want to die."
I blinked and stared at him, "... fair enough." I sat in the grass, "Anything I should know about?"
"Not really. Just avoid the ghost at all costs.. but I'm sure you know that already."
"Yeah." I grinned.
"Anything else?"
".... I can still see ghosts..."
"Is that bad?"
"Not really, guess..."
"Alright. Anything else?"
"My grandmother died."
"Oh."
"My hamster died."
"Uh--"
"My dog died."
"You had a dog?"
"No."
"Wh--"
"HAH, haha, yeaahhh... I kinda lost it, I think..."
"I'd say so..."
"HEY!" He flinched and I backed off, "Sorry... say.. since we're solving problems here, what do I do about Ghosty leaving my knife at home all the time?" He looked at the ground, thinking, his hair falling over his face slightly. "Well.." I sat back, listening to him, "how about a bag?" "A bag?" He nodded, "Yes, a bag. You know, like a purse, but for boys." I gave an unamused look, "You want me to carry around a purse."
"Sure, why not? You could bring alot of things with you. Knife, school books, snacks, anything really."
"Hmmm.." I looked down. "But Ghost will just take Knifey out."
"Then hide it in the bottom under other stuff."
".... hmmm... not a bad idea..."
"Yep."
"I can try, I guess." I looked at him, "But if I look dumb, I will hit you." He grinned, "I don't doubt it, sir."
"Sir?"
"Yes. I need to get into the habit of calling people sir, that's what father says."
"Oh..."
"I can stop if it bothers you.."
"Don't call me that. You can try it with Ghost though."
"He isn't here..." I grinned at Toast, "D-Don't worry, he will be soon.." "What? Why'd you stutter?" I waved at Toast then fell over, unconcious. I really wanted to freak him out, see the look on his stupid face, but I was too tired.. I'd forgotten how hard staying in control was. So I slept. Letting Ghost back in control to reunite with his friend. His only friend, as far as I know..---
