March 1, 4am, R's van:
R: *watches M sigh from across him on the other chair as they eat the breakfast he cooked and packed for them* Ayaw mo ba yung food, Love? Pwede tayo dumaan ng drive-thru.
M: *sighs* No. Okay na to, Love. Thank you. *looks at R and gave him a forced smile*
R: Coffee? Sorry. Di ako nakapagbaon, Love, pero pwede naman tayong dumaan.
M: No, thanks.
R: *furrows his eyebrows, trying to figure out what's bothering M whose mood seems to be off this morning since he picked her up from the Mendoza home earlier* Love, what's wrong? Gusto mo subuan kita? Kanina pa yan sa harap mo pero wala ka pang naisubo kahit isa.
M: *sighs* Wala lang, Love. Wala lang akong gana.
R: Tired? Sleepy? *reaches out to touch her forehead and neck* Di ka naman mainit. Dahil sa sipon? May dino ka na ba ulit? Love... *takes M's hand* Please tell me.
M: I'm fine, Love. *sighs*
R: You're not fine. Halika nga. *slightly tugs on M's hand to urge her to get up and sit on his lap, wraps his arms around her as she snuggles on his chest, curled up on his lap like a baby* It's okay if you don't tell me. Basta tandaan mo na andito lang ako. Andito lang ako palagi. *kisses M's temple and gently strokes her hair*
M: Thank you, Love. *slips her arms under his armpits and holds him, closes her eyes as she rests in his warm embrace*
R: Love? *calls M's name after a few minutes of cuddling her, caressing her hair and pressing soft kisses on her skin*
M: Hmmm?
R: *whispers* Malapit na tayo sa meeting place ng service mo. *presses another kiss on her shoulder*
M: *murmurs* Okay. *nuzzles on his neck* Gusto mo pa din ba marinig kung bakit may sumpong ako?
R: Of course, Love. I'm always ready to listen.
M: *sighs, squeezes R and plants a kiss on his chest before sitting up and looking at his face* March na kasi.
R: Oh, ano naman kung March na? Ayaw mo nun? Birthday mo na in two days. *smiles, touches her cheek with the back of his hand*
M: Yun na nga eh. Malapit na birthday ko. One year na ulit ako maghihintay. Tapos na ang premiere ng soap tapos ngayon naman magbi-birthday na ako. Ano na lang ilu-look forward ko nito? *pouts*
R: Yun ba? Naku, Love. Marami pa. Yung second movie natin this year din yun, yung concert sa April makakapag-New York na tayong magkasama, Love. Andiyan pa yung second anniversary mo sa showbiz, anniversary natin sa July, anniversary ng KS wedding, anniversary ng Tamang Panahon at higit sa lahat yung kasal.
M: Yung kasal! *beams* Kailan?
R: Secret. *grins* Malapit na. Ready na yung rash guard na gown. *laughs*
M: *laughs* Totoo ba yun?
R: Joke lang. Basta. Maganda. Magiging sobrang ganda mo lalo dun. *smiles, stares at M lovingly*
M: *blushes* Yan tayo eh. Weg me nge ekeng tinitignan ng genyen. Nakakakilig. Kainis. *hits R's arm, giggles* Yan ba binalita mo kay Nanay? Araw-araw pa-excited na pa-excited si Nanay eh.
R: Oo. At madami pa kaming napag-usapan. Si Nanay ang checker at balancer ng lahat ng plano. CPA na CPA lang. *grins*
M: *laughs and pinches R's cheeks*
R: *beams as an idea crosses his mind* Wait lang, Love. *gets up, sets M down on the chair and moves to the back where he starts scrambling through the boxes and taking a candle left from his previous surprise for M, gets her leftover pancakes and places the candle on top* Teka, may lighter dito si Eric eh. *looks around,finds the lighter, lights the small candle* Tada!
M: *giggles* Ano yan, Love?
R: Ito? Ang tawag dito Menggay's birthday pancake with love from RJ. *smiles widely*
M: *laughs* Ang baduy, Love. Kailangan nating pag-usapan yang pagbibigay mo ng mga pangalan ha? I fear for our children. *giggles* Pero ang sweet. *smiles, looks into his eyes* Thank you, Love. *closes her eyes, makes a wish and blows the candle*
R: Ayan. Surprise number 1 pa lang yan. *clears throat, announces in an official manner* Mula sa araw na ito, I declare March as the official Nicomaine Dei Mendoza-Faulkerson Birthday Month and that I, Richard Faulkerson Jr., her partner, soulmate and husband shall give her a surprise everyday for 31 days.
M: *giggles* Talaga?
R: Yes, Love. So from now on you can look forward to a birthday surprise everyday for a whole month. *smiles*
M: Paano? After March tapos na lahat. *pouts*
R: E di mag-iisip ulit ako ng bagong pakulo. *takes M's hand and sincerely gazes into her eyes* I promise to always give you something to look forward to in our everyday together hanggang sa maubos ang mga bituin sa langit, hanggang tumigil ang pag-ikot ng mundo, hanggang maubos ang lahat ng bukas. *raises M's hand to his lips and kisses it*
M: Hindi ka mapapagod?
R: Hinding-hindi.
M: Hindi ka magsasawa?
R: Never. I love you too much to ever get tired, my life.
M: *smiles* You are simply amazing, Richard Faulkerson Jr. Thank you but you don't have to do that. Just knowing that I will wake up next to you everyday for the rest of our lives is enough reason for me to look forward to each tomorrow. *caresses R's face* I love you more and more, my life.
R: *smiles giddily and pulls M into his arms to hug her tight* Grabe ka! I love you. I love you. I love you so much, Love! *releases M and cradles her face in his hands, gently thumbing her cheeks and looking deep into her eyes* I love you.
M: *sighs and smiles* I love you.
R: *draws his lips closer to M's and kisses her tenderly until it was time for them to momentarily part only to meet again later and share more moments to look forward to forever* ❤🎂❤💏❤🍃❤
