"I want to join the scouts, too."
The boy smiled a little bit. "Then this fighting practice is pointless, isn't it?"
You chuckled. "I guess so."
You and him exchanged punches for a little longer, your knuckles grazing the chain of a necklace that's hidden beneath his jacket. The practice soon ended as the sky began to darken and the sun continued to fade.
"I'll see you around."
"Yeah." The boy responded awkwardly, his arms falling back down to his sides.
You made your way back to Winona and Ballard, Winona's hair out in loose waves instead of her usual braid. Calum and Valencia both met up, all of you walking back to the dorms for the night.
