Monroe's POV:
We all walked back into the house after we left church. "Come get your lunch." Ciara said after she put down the bag of Jimmy Johns. Brian, Kendrick, and Nathan quickly got theirs before going back to the game room. I overheard during dinner that they got some new video game and have been obsessing over it. I rolled my eyes playfully before getting mine and sitting at the table. "I don't know what's with boys and video games." Johnie chuckled and put Ezra in his high chair to eat. I smiled and started eating.
I held onto Phoenix and Ezra's hands as we followed Johnie and Ciara through our backyard to the beach. "It's crazy to know that you live right on the beach." I said to them. "That was a huge reason why we bought the house." Ciara smiled before laying the beach blanket out. I sat down and felt Ezra sit down on my lap. I smiled and kissed the top of his head. "Are you hungry?" Ciara asked him. "Yeah!" He smiled as she handed him an applesauce squeeze container. "Applesauce." He smiled before eating it. I chuckled as Johnie, Nathan, and Phoenix went to the water. I looked around, seeing people hanging out or playing in the water. "The waters beautiful huh?" She asked me and I nodded. "Even though I've been to the beach a lot with oceanography club. It never fails to bore me." I smiled at her. She smiled back and squeezed my shoulder. "Swim now?" Ezra asked me. "Of course." I smiled
