The Red Kingdom was ours. After our successful campaign that took down the garrison, the outer part of the Red Kingdom was defenseless. Soon the capitol was surrounded by our troops, but their wall was too heavily guarded to breech.

"We need to take the Red Kingdom now," Alexia said, at a meeting, "If we don't act now, the Red Kingdom will. The majority of their troops are in the Gray Kingdo. After hearing the news, they'll be rushing back to defend their homeland."

"Your right," Harman said, "Our scouts just reported around 20 legions of Red Kingdom calvary sailing towards the Red Kingdom. They'll be here in a couple of days."

"I don't like it," I said, "The Red Kingdom troops wouldn't just stay inside their walls. Their trying to bait us in. They want us to attack them. They've probably got some trap."

"The Red Kingdom troops have every reason to stay inside their walls," Harman replied sharply, "Our base camp here to the Red Kingdom capitol is a couple hours of walking, and through a forest. We can't supply our troops there very well."

"Besides, we've got plenty of catapults and cannons on their walls right now," Harman continued, "The Red Kingdom troops would be crazy to come out and fight."

"That's not true!" Richard said, "The Red Kingdom soldiers have calvary, which can easily overcome our artillery units. But their not doing it, and as Lenard said, its going to be a trap."

"Look," Alexia said, "There is something weird about that, but we can't just sit here and wait for them to come out, we've got to go to them!"

"All in favor?" Harman said to the assembled senators in front of him.

Almost every single one raised their hands, except for a couple, Me, Richard and Nos.

"All right then," Harman said, "Its decided. We'll leave tomorrow at sunset where they'll be least expecting a attack. You've got 2 hours before the fight!"

When I arrived at our little house at the Red Kingdom, a sudden thought popped into my mind. I remembered that during our raid on the Red Kingdom, I had almost channeled the power of Loth. I tried to channel that power again, but it wasn't working for some reason.

"Hey, Nos," I asked, "Can you help me with something?"

"Sure," He replied, "What do you want me to do?"

"Um.." I said, "I need you to stab me or something."

"Okay," Nos said, "Why would you want me to stab you?"

"Well," I replied, "During our raid on the Red Kingdom, I was stabbed with a spear and I almost grasped the power of Loth, but there wasn't enough time. So I need you to mortally hurt me so I can try it again."

"Hey guys," Richard said as he walked into the room," We've got to watch out. Harman said a Red Kingdom assassin was spotted somewhere-"

"WATCH OUT LENARD!" Nos shouted, pointing behind me.

I tried to draw Loth, but it was already too late. I felt the dagger slide into my shoulder and I crumpled to my knees. Suddenly, time slowed down again and I could see everything around me.

I saw the Red Kingdom assassin with a grin on his face as he slid the knife out of my shoulder and raised it over his head. I saw Nos and Richard's surprised face as they rushed towards me.
