After the failed invasion of the Green Kingdom, moral was high upon our ranks. We had a huge party in the throne room after the Red Kingdom soldiers had fled. I was having fun eating roasted boar until Nos shouted for everyone's attention.
"Guys," He began, "I know we're all happy here, but someones got to address this. The Red Kingdom isn't finished. They will come back, and we need to be ready."
"What are you suggesting?" I asked, "All our allies are either gone or dead. We have nobody else to go to."
"No," Nos said, "I heard rumors that the Gray Kingdom isn't entirely gone. There might be some sort of a resistance in there. If we only know where...."
Suddenly, I had a flashback where Wulfa had told me about the 26th tile to the left on the throne room.
"I know where," I blurted out. Everyone attention shifted to me, "What I meant, was that I might know where the resistance is."
"Lenard," Nos said, "How do you know this?"
"I overheard, " I lied, "I overhead some Red Kingdom spies talk about it."
"Well, we better get going then," Nos said, "We need to send an expedition to the Gray Kingdom immediately to liberate it."
Just as he said that, thunder boomed in the background. Rain suddenly started pounding the building. Lightning flashed through the windows and the room suddenly got very silent.
"We might have to post-pone it," Richard advised, "It'll be suicide to send out an army in that weather, especially sailing."
"Ya," I said, remembering how Chole died, "We better postpone it."
"All right," Nos said, "We'll leave whenever the wrenched storm leaves."
We all stayed inside the Throne Room for a while, but the storm didn't look like it was going to leave anytime soon. Soldiers slowly slipped out of the room and back to their homes, but I didn't want to risk getting hit by the rain.
After the sun set, the rain was still pounding the Kingdom.
"Do you think Ivor is making this storm?" Richard asked me, "He might be trying to postpone the liberation of the Gray Kingdom."
"I doubt it," I replied, "Ivor can't come up with magic this strong, and I'm pretty sure that he's still pretty drained from our last fight."
"So..." Richard said, "You managed to master the Sword Of Light?"
"I can control it pretty well," I admitted
"Wow," Richard replied, "That must be pretty cool. I wish I had a sword like that."
"Trust me," I said, "Its not as cool as you think."
"Guys," Hal said, walking over, "I think we should get to our homes. The storm isn't going to end anytime soon. I think it might even last through the night."
"All right, then," I said, "Lets go."
We pushed open the doors of the Throne Room and rain was pounding us everywhere. I could barely see a meter in front of me. As we passed the ruins of the Green Kingdom palace, I saw a book lying in the ruins. I rushed forwards and picked it up. It might have just been me, but I even saw a boat, take sail from the docks. It had a pure Blue sail and was sailing into the storm. I watched as it crossed a wave and disappeared over the horizon.
