Fog clouded up the sky. Nos, Richard, Alexia, Han and I were crammed onto a small boat that would take us to the mainland of Gala. With a handful of soldiers, we were suppose to spy on the Red Kingdom and find out what weaknesses that they have. The ship sailed through the morning mist.

I watched as the prow of the ship cutting through the deep waters. After a few hours, the port hit sand with a grunt. We all got off and hid the ship somewhere inside the tall reed grass. According to our maps, we should be somewhere close to the walls of the Red Kingdom.

After a few hours of trudging through the grass, I saw a slimmer of red inside the deep fog. Suddenly, it came to view. There was a huge wall with a massage Red flag hanging from it. Underneath, there were tons of doors, all busy with guards checking the people that went in.

"That might be a problem for us," I whisperer to Richard, "What if they find out that we're spies?"

"I don't know," Richard replied, "There wasn't suppose to be this many guards. I guess that we'll have to test our luck and hope they don't find out."

I nodded and moved forwards. We split up and went to separate gates so that we won't be too suspicious. I noticed that I could blend in pretty well with the other people around me. A few were carrying swords and some were carrying packs almost as big as ours.

Richard and I advanced onto the main gate with the most guards. Fortunately, there were also  many people entering that gate. When we reached the gate, the guards looked at us.

"Why are you here?" Said one of the guards in a bored voice

"Umm... we're here to start a blacksmith shop, "Richard replied, "Our towns running out of money and we need to earn some for the family!"

"Come on in then," The guard responded, "Welcome to the Red Kingdom. Next!"

Richard and I rejoined the rest of our troops and walked through the walls of the Red Kingdom. I know we were not here for sightseeing, but I couldn't help, but marvel at the huge walls and well trained guards of the Red Kingdom. We ducked behind in a small alley and Nos told us our jobs.

"Han and Lenard, you two pretend your royal guards and spy on their information," Nos commanded, "Richard and I will be close by inside a fake blacksmith shop with the rest of the troops. We don't want to make the guards too suspicious by overwhelming them with too many people."

Hal and I nodded. We pulled out the Red Kingdom uniforms and ID's that King Peleus had given us before we took off.  We said our good-byes to the rest of our troops and marched forwards towards the main chunk of the Red Kingdom, where the throne room and the main castle lay.

Once we reached the deep moat of the castle, a couple of guards crossed their spears in our path.

"Name and ID?" One of them said

"Den Stag and here's my ID " I said, telling them my fake name, and handing over my fake piece of wood with the Red Kingdom crest on it.

"Fal Gray," Said Hal, also handing over his ID.

The guards took a couple looks at our ID, but they still didn't seem convinced.

"The King lets us know whose coming to the Kingdom, " One of the guards said, "You guys aren't on the list."

"We know, " Hal said, "General Antitso made an exception for us. He said we need more guards for training."

The guards started to protest, but the leader cut them off with a wave of his hand.
