The waters were choppy today. Soldiers crammed onto the side of our tiny ships and we were loading equipment onto the ships. We had 300 soldiers in total and around 20 ships, but we were trying to rescue 3 whole legions that were pinned down at ground lake.
We were carrying lots of weapons and food to refuel the soldiers that were trapped at Ground Lake. I secretly hopes that Alexia was alive, because we needed her in the fight against the Red Kingdom.
"Hey," I said to Richard while carrying a stack of bread, "Didn't you think King Pelias was acting a little weird yesterday? I mean he was raging over me reading some book."
"Not my place to find out," Richard said with a shrug, which is hard to do when your carrying a stack of spears, "He is King after all. If he found you pocking around his privacy, he could have you executed!"
I nodded and followed Richard onto the Gallion, that someone had repaired for us. Hal was already on their preparing the sails. Nos was probably below decks, gathering supplies.
We were going to make a short voyage into ground lake, preferably without being confronted, get the Green Kingdom soldiers and get out of there as quick as we can. The only problem was, if we did get discovered, we're going to be outnumbered like crazy.
Hal rigged up our fake Red Kingdom sail and put up a fake Red Kingdom flag on our mast. Our ship wasn't very big, but it's durable and would be quick to escape if the situation got bad. We were going to disguise as a crew of cargo boats, bringing supplies to the Red Kingdom soldiers at Ground Lake.
The second our sail unraveled, a strong gust of wind it and sent our ship sailing from the harbour. I never liked the sea, it was too mysterious, too dangerous. I like it better on land, where you're on solid ground and can see you renemies coming. With the ocean, you never know.
I turned around and saw that most of our ships were already leaving the port. The captains were doing last minute checks and bringing on the last bit of their supplies.
I glanced wistfully at the Green Kingdom flag on the wall that was growing smaller by the second. I wondered if this was going to be the last time I saw it...

It had been 5 hours since we had left the Green Kingdom. Our compass and maps show that we've been going in the right direction, but I think we should've arrived by now.
"Are you sure we're going in the right direction?" I asked Hal for the 10th time.
"Pretty sure," He said, glancing into the sea, "Why would the compass lie? If we just wait a couple more hours..."
"We need to turn back NOW," Nos said, climbing onto the deck
"Why's that?" I asked, turning around, and that's when I saw it.
We just sailed out of the mist and into the mouth of some giant harbour. There were no ports on the side, yet there were tons of ships lined up in the harbour. Most looked like fishing vessels, or cargo ships, but there were a couple that looked like battleships. I glanced up and my heart nearly stopped.
There was a giant sculpture of a man looming over us. This was Death Bay. There had been stories of it all along, how fishermen always accidentally sail over here and never come back, how this used to be a Green Kingdom stronghold, but was overrun years ago. How when the dark forces overran it, they built a giant statue of their leader.
