I'll buy you flowers

*Charles's P.O.V.*

The meeting finished as I shook Richard's hand and welcomed him to the team. He smiled as he enthusiastically shook my hand. I grinned at his joy. I smiled at Jason and made my way over to him. I was discussing details about a meal with Jason as I saw Talia talking with Richard. She was smiling, he was laughing. It's like she was totally ... fine. I nodded to Jason, setting my plans final. He escorted Richard out the room as I closed it behind the four of us. Talia waved Richard of as he smiled back.

"He's really nice. Where did you find him?" She asked as we made our way down the hallway.

"I've known him for years. A family thing I think"

"Ah, interesting. What did you hire him for?"

"Nothing"

"What?" She stopped in her tracks. Throwing a confused look in my direction.

"I didn't hire him. He's still in college. He's here doing an apprenticeship" I replied, raising my eyebrow.

"Really?"

I continued to walk down the hallway as she caught up to me. I made my way into the elevator and waited.

"You coming or not Talia?"

"Where are you going?"

I lifted up my left hand and tapped my wrist. She looked at hers and looked back up at me with a grin. She practically skipped towards me and joined me in the elevator. The doors closed at we were alone.

"Talia"

"Yes Mr Lorenzo"

I laughed.

"Works normally ends at half five. But because I'm the boss, I work later."

"So we have to postpone our date?"

"Exac- Wait! What?"

"Our date. It's practically a date Charles."

"I didn't say it was a date"

"I did! You have to buy me flowers now" She smiled.

"You know the silly thing," She blinked in confusion.

I leaned to her, my breath running down her neck. I heard her gasp quietly as I opened my mouth.

"I will buy you flowers now" I smiled, placing a gentle kiss on her neck before the doors opened and I left.
