*Charles's P.O.V.*

I walked Charlotte out of the building and waved her goodbye as the car drove off. I made my way back through the empty building and back to my office. I walked past rooms, turning their lights off and closing their doors. I made my way to my office and collected my things. I noticed Talia's office light was on and went to turn it off. I opened the door and noticed Talia typing away at the computer.

"Talia?" I asked confused.

"Hurm" She said, her eyes glued to the screen.

"Why are you still here?" I asked, closing the door.

"I had work to do"

"Talia," I grabbed her chin, tilting her head towards me.

I scanned her face carefully, trying to know what she was feeling. I looked at her eyes. Though the beautiful colour they were, she was tired. My gaze trailed down her face and to her lips. I stared way too long at them. What is wrong with me?

"Charles?" She snapped out of my gaze.

I closed down her tabs on the computer and shut it down.

"Charles? What are you doing?" She pushed my hands away from her computer.

"Talia," I held her hands in mine. "Let's go. Okay?"

She rolled her eyes as she went for her bag. I grabbed it before she was near it and held the door open for her. She gave a faint smile and went to the elevator. I went and stood next to her.

"Charles..."

"Yes Talia"

"Who was that girl?"

I looked at her as she was leaning against the back of the elevator. I gulped, knowing she would suss me out if I lied. But I couldn't tell her the whole truth.

"She's a friend of mine. We met when studying in college"

"What did you study?"

"Astronomy"

"Really? I like stars"

I smiled at her. She opened her eyes and smiled back. An honest smile.

We made our way out the building and she climbed in the car as I locked the main entrance. I smiled as I sat down next to her. She had her head looking out the window and her arms wrapped around her fragile body. I shuffled out of my jacket and she noticed I was moving. I smiled as I slipped my left arm out and she leaned forward. I wrapped the jacket around her and she sighed with satisfaction as she gazed out the window, her eyes fluttering closed.
