*Talia's P.O.V.*

"We'll talk later about it, enjoy your bath" He whispered, kissing my neck. I giggled as he struggled to keep his hands off me. He eventually left me alone with my bubble bath. I happily took off my clothes and threw them in the laundry basket. As I sunk my feet into the warm water, happiness spread throughout me. I laid down in the marble bath tub and let the bubbles relax my muscles.

After a while, I climbed out slowly. I let then soothing water run down and off my body as the cold air hit me. I quickly wrapped a robe around me and went into my room. Rose petals and candles were laid out across my room. I smiled to myself, knowing Charles did all this.

I wondered if he still wanted to talk with me. I made it pretty clear what I wanted us to be, but maybe ... he doesn't want the same?

I tied the belt on my robe and went out my room. Around corners, up stairs and through hallways. There it was. The beautiful bright paint on the walls fading into his corner of the house. I took no notice of the door at the end and immediately knocked on his door. Shuffles were heard before the door creaked open to reveal a shirtless Charles.

"Hey" He smirked.

I smiled as he stood to the side and I walked in. I took a seat on the couch as he sat next to me. He placed one ankle on the other knee and spread his arms along the back of the couch.

"Well I think we need to talk" I smiled awkwardly.

"I'm pretty sure you know what I want us to be ... But, do you want the same?" I asked, in one breath.

"Talia..." He breathed. He bent his head down and ran his fingers through his hair.

This was it ... He's going to reject me. Tell me it was just temporary. That it's just a pretty face. There's nothing real between us. It was all lie. Everything he told me was just to make me feel better. He's gonna kick me out too, I can't imagine waking up every morning. Seeing his face all day and not being able to be his. Him be mine... Be one.

"I thought you knew from the beginning" He sighed.

"I'm sorry if I mislead you Talia, I never wanted to hurt you"

He sat up and faced me, taking my hands in his. A tear escaped as he chocked on his own words.

"I'm so so so sorry Talia"

I snapped my hands back and walked towards the door, ready to leave this behind. Leave any chance of us, behind ...
