Stay

*Charles's P.O.V.*

I glanced over to Talia, to see her in blistful sleep. The bright lights from the change of scene in the film made her angelic, even whilst sleeping. I turned the Television off as I cleaned the food and blankets away. Talia squirmed with the sudden loss of heat and I went to her aid. Picking her up in my arms like a child, Jason opened the door for me. We said goodnight and I carried Talia back to her room.

I laid her down on her bed and tucked her in under the sheets. She grabbed the edge of the sheet and curled it in under her chin. It hurts to see her so happy, I don't deserve her happiness.

"Charles..." She mumbled.

I sat down on the edge of the bed, letting her know I was there.

"Yes?"

"Stay"

"You don't want me to stay"

"If I didn't ... I wouldn't have said"

I smiled at her cocky little remark and walked to the other side of her bed. I quickly removed my shirt over my head and took off my socks and shoes. She moved a little as I climbed in next to her and faced the other way. More shuffles were heard as I felt her delicate hands move from my side up and rest on the front of my shoulders as she pulled herself closer to me.

"Want to cuddle do we?" I mocked.

She simply hummed in response as I rolled over. I took her hands off my shoulders and held them in front of her as my arms held her. She rubbed up against me as she got comfortable and I nuzzled my face into the crook of her neck. I gave her a light kiss on her shoulder, than her neck and her cheek.

"Your a flirt Charles..."

"I'm not the one that pleaded a man to get into my bed"

She rolled over in my arms and placed her hands on my chest. She looked up at me, happiness written across her face.

"True, but did I ask for you to take your shirt off?"

"You have a problem with it?" I glanced down at myself. She body pressed up against mine, closing any space we had.

"Not, at ... all" She teased, walking her fingers up my chest and gently tapping my nose.
