As we pulled into my driveway, I slightly shook Talia. She gave a faint grunt as her eyes landed on me. I raised my eyebrow with inpatients. She furrowed her eyebrows at me and rolled away from me. I huffed with defeat and exited the car. I gave Jason the key to the front door of my house as I made my way around to Talia's side. I opened the door to see her eyes closed. I slipped my arms under and pulled her out the car. I heard her sigh with satisfaction of being in my arms.
As I made my way through the front door, I gestured Jason to lock the door and go to bed. I walked up the stairs, along corridors and around corners until we were at Talia's room. I opened the door with my hand whilst still holding Talia. I closed the door with my foot, made my way over to the bed and placed her down.
"Charles..." She whispered, sitting up.
"Yes?" I questioned.
"We were going to have diner. Talk about this all"
"Your tired-"
"And your keeping something from me"
I looked up to see Talia looking at me, pissed off.
"Maybe tomorrow-"
"Charles! I want an answer now!" She shouted, standing up to me. I looked down at her, my gaze softened. I smiled as I took her hair out and played with it. She smacked my hand away and grabbed my collar, pulling me face to face with her.
"Start talking Charles" She said, looking me straight in the eyes.
"I can't just begin. I need questions to answer!" I shouted, flailing my arms about.
She made her way past me and sat down on the couch, patting the space next to her.
"I have plenty"
