Chapter 12

Jess cried and cried until she fell asleep. Ricco couldn't help but have teary eyes as he heard her cry and tell him everything...
Adym lay her on the bed and put the blanket ontop of her. Just as he was about to get up and leave, she held onto his arm. "Please stay" Jess muttered. So he got into the blanket and lay down next to her...

Half way through the night, Adym woke up by the sound of Jess crying. He sat up to find her looking outside the window. "Are you okay?" He says with his handsome sleepy. Jess quickly wipes her tears and nods her head. Adym then stood up and walked towards her. "What's wrong?" He asks again.

"Nothing, i just had a dream..About my parents" Jess looks the other way, trying to hide that she was crying. Ugh Jess, i dont know why but i just feel like pulling you closer to me Adym says to himself.

He then puts his hand on her shoulder. "Jess look at me" he says. She shakes her head. "Jessss, look at me. Now" Adym rubs his eyes so he's more awake. Jess turns around with her head down. But Adym held onto her chin and and lifted it up.

"I promise that i'll help you. To get through all of this, im here" he then places her hand on his heart. "I will help you find your parents. Im here for you. Just take my hand.. We can go on this journey together" Adym says.

Why did he put my hand on his heart? Why is he beating so fast? Jess asks herself as she just looks at him in the eye. Can she feel it. My fast heartbeat.. Adym says to himself. They both stare at each other.. into eachother's eyes. Jess then finally smiles. She then nods. "I trust you" she says.

"Good. Now please, smile. You look better when you smile, not when you cry. You look ugly when you cry" Adym says. "I look ugly??" Jess said in a shocked tone. "Erm..yeah" Adym replies. "Hey! Meanie!" Jess turns back the other way. "Dont worry, you've always seemed beautiful to me" Adym whispers from behind in her ear.

Jess chuckles and turns around, wiping her tears. Adym then pulls her towards him and hugs her tightly, with her head against his heart. She listened to his heartbeat...

Next Day

Jess woke up, feeling someone's arms wrapped around her. She turned around and saw Adym, fast asleep. She placed her hands under her head and stared at his cute, pale face. "Am i that beautiful?" Adym asked, as he opened his eyes. Jess quickly looks down, her face blushing bright red.

"What i said last night" he says and holds onto her hand. "I mean it. I promised you and i'll never break this promise, ever" he finishes off. Jess was still looking down, feeling shy and embarrassed.

Adym chuckles and starts playing with her hair. "Um Adym, there's something i wanted to ask you" Jess says. Adym hums in response, still busy playing with his hair. "That night, what happened.. Do you remember?" Jess asks. "What do you mean?" Adym asks. "Oh nothing, nevermind" Jess turns around. You numpty, of course i remember Adym says to himself.

He then slowly creeps his hands around her waist again. "Do you mean this?" He whispers in her ear. He then suddenly places his lips on her neck, slowly kissing it. Jess closed her eyes. He then bit onto her neck, giving her a hickey.

Jess bit her lip nervously. "Do you mean that?" He asks. Jess nods and turns back to him. Adym nods. "I remember everything hun. And what's suprising is that.. You're the only girl" Adym says. "What do you mean only girl?" Jess asks. "The only girl that i remembered doing it with" Adym replies.

Jess slowly nods and looks down. "It was fun, that night. If only more could happen" Adym winks and moves more closer to her. "Adym, stop" Jess giggles. Adym ignores her and moves even more closer. Jess quickly stood up and ran into the bathroom, locking the door. Adym chuckled and sat up on the side of the bed.

He then notices the ring from the persons hand last night. He picked it up and looked at it. "Why does this look like moms ring?" He asks. Adym then looks at the back. He was gobsmacked.
On the back was written "Jenny."

"Is mom up to this? How does she know about Jess' past? What's going on?" Adym started muttering these questions to himself. Suddenly, he heard Jess unlock the bathroom door. He quickly puts the ring under the pillow and ran to hide bt the door. Jess opened the door and saw no one there. Adym quickly jumped in front of her and pulled her towards him.

He then picked her up and carried her back to the bed. He kay her down and came ontop of her, giving a quick peck on her head. "I'll make you breakfast. You stay here" Adym winks and then stood up. He then walked out.

"What he said to me yesterday was about helping me with my parents. But why do i feel as if apart from that, he's confessed his feelings to me... Does he like me? I mean, why would he act like this to me all of a sudden? Ugh, what's going on?" Jess mutters a few questions to herself...
