Lukes POV:

"Will you be my girlfriend?" I ask.

Suddenly my hands are around her and her hands around my neck and softly stroking my hair as I pull her into a kiss. We're both so startled and shocked. But it just feels so... So right.

She pulls away and replies,

"Yes."

I pull her into another kiss before we both stand up.

I take her hand and we walk towards the door. Just as I open the door someone falls in. Calum. Ashton and Michael are standing on either sides of the door.

They all burst out laughing. I notice Araina blush a little. We walk past them and out towards where I parked my car to go eat somewhere.

*~*~*~*~*~*

I open my eyes and just smile. Nothing more. I get out of my bed and head first towards the shower than I go downstairs.

"Hi Mom, Hi dad," I say.

"Luke! Come, I haven't seen you in days," My dad says.

I sit next to him.

"Eggs or bacon?" My mom asks with her usual warming smile.

"Eggs," I say.

She puts some on a plate and gives it to me. I grab the orange juice and drink it with the eggs.

After breakfast we go to my aunt's house. The usual family parties.

I call Araina while my parents are busy talking about my cousin with my aunt. He's the same age as me.

"Hey!" She says answering her phone after five beeps.

"Hi! Whatcha doing?" I ask.

"Nothing much. Resting for the game tonight," she replies.

"You have a game tonight?" I ask.

"Yeah, friendly match though," she replies.

"And you didn't invite me?" I question.

"No! I mean yes! Come, I just didn't want to bother you," She replies.

"Of course I'll come. What time?" I answer.

"Seven," she replies.

"Okay," I reply.

I want to say it. I really want to, but I don't want her to think I am going too fast. Or maybe I'm afraid she won't say it back to me.

"Where are you?" She asks obviously hearing all the noise.

"Aunt's house," I reply.

"Alright than, see you," she says.

"Bye," I reply.

She hangs up.

The tension between us kind of broke when we kissed last night and talked a lot at the restaurant, but I still feel my heart coming beating out around her.

"Luke!" My aunt calls.

"Yeah?" I answer.

"Nick is here," she says.

I get up and go towards the door.
Nick comes in.

"Hey!" He says when he sees me.

"Nick," I say returning his fist bump.

He walks up the stairs and towards his room. I follow him.

He plops himself on the bed.

"How's the new album coming?" He questions.

"Pretty good," I reply sitting on his bean bag.

"I heard they are going to do some transfers from Westfield this year," He explains.

"Really? To where?"

"To Oakland,"

I suddenly feel my heart beating faster. That's where Araina is.

"Oh, cool," is all I say.

"So do you want to transfer?" He asks.

"Not sure, maybe though"

"I would if I were you,"

"That's cause you are in Oakland," I point out.

"Maybe, but I was in Westfield for a year, so I can say that,"

"Luke! Nick! Lunch is ready," My uncle calls.

We go downstairs and eat the food my Aunt made us.

After lunch we hang out till about five. Just as we are about to leave my Aunt says,

"Why don't you stay for dinner? We can make something together. Besides the kids are having fun," she says pointing to my five cousins who are all in the same age range; 5 or 6.

All my Aunt's and Uncle's agree.
I walk up to my Dad.

"Dad I have to go," I say.

"Where?" He asks.

"A soccer game," I reply.

"But you didn't sign up for soccer this summer," he says surprised.

"Not my own. My uh...my girlfriends soccer game," I explain.

Suddenly I realize everyone staring at me.
