She has her usual tomboy style. Maybe not complete tomboy but not very girly either.
She has light blue skinny pants on with a black t-shirt and a black bag.
Her hair is straight around her.
"Hey! You're here too?" She asks.
I stand up and pull her into a hug.
"Yeah, date," I blurt. I absolutely did not want to tell her that.
"Me too," she says. I notice her blushing.
"Well, have fun," she says and walks away sitting at the table in front of me.
In the next ten minutes we talk with each other through hand signals, but the blind date they set up, obviously has not come.
"Ashton! I will kill you if you hang up!" I say almost shouting.
"Well? Did you see her?" He asks.
"Nope. Please tell me this is not some type of joke or prank," I say.
"Dude! Don't you get it yet? Why? Why are you so dumb?" Calum shouts over the phone. I notice Araina is talking on her phone.
"What?" I ask again.
"You're date is Araina!" Michael finally shouts.
I stare wide eyes, mouth open and shocked at her. She is looking at me too. I bet she found out as well.
I stand up and go to her table.
"Well, I guess we are each other's blind dates?" Araina says as I sit down.
"Yeah," I say smiling.
"So? What do you want to eat?" She asks looking at the menu.
I bet it is double the times awkward for her as it is for me.
"I'll go with a burger. You?"
"Same,"
"So you didn't know? That they set us up?" I ask.
"Nope. Titia told me it would be a blind date with her cousin's best friends friend. I insisted that I wouldn't come, but she's like don't ruin my reputation and stuff. So I decided to come," she explains.
"Yeah, same," I reply.
"To be honest, this does not feel like a date," she says.
"Well... Do you want it to be one?" I ask. Oh, here it goes.
She looks at me for a couple minutes before answering.
"Yeah."

When we both leave the restaurant, she gets into her car and waves bye to me. I get into my car and go back home. I just lay in my bed doing nothing. My mom comes home and straight into my room.
"How was the date?" She asks.
"Its was good..." I say.
"How was the girl? Who was she?" She asks.
"One of my friends. Ashton told me I didn't know her, but I did," I say.
"Do I know her?" She questions.
"No," I reply.
"Well, when can I meet her?" She asks.
"Mom, please. Not now," I say.
She smiles and goes out of the room shutting the door behind her.
I stare at my roof. I wonder what is going to happen.
I mean will we be actually dating or still be friends, or none.
I know exactly what I have to do.
I turn off my light and fall asleep.

When I wake up I know I only have a couple hours before concert practice.
I get dressed and quickly drive to the flower store without eating anything.
I buy a red rose, and ask the flower store to deliver it to her house.
I put a card saying 'Don't forget to come to the concert' with some hearts at the end.
I go out of the flower store and towards McDonalds. I get breakfast and head over to the place where the concert is going to be held.
I see Michael first.
"How was the date?" He asks winking.
